Each room includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. The open-plan living area features comfortable seating, a TV, a dining table, and a kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. can relax on a patio, enjoy braai facilities, and beautiful lagoon views.

If all you are looking for is to switch-off and do nothing stressful this is the place. We have a huge garden for the kids to play. Fruit trees with mangoes, tangerines, coffee and oranges for you to eat. The house has three bedrooms and an annex with extra-two bedrooms and beds. All with AC and mosquito nets. Hammocks, braai, cable TV, furnished house with towels, gas stove and bed linen included. Very safe. Just bring food, mosquito repellent, coal and yourself. Walk to the beach & relax!

Situated on the Eastern side of Lagoa Uembje, Shongili Lodge is reached by an 8 minute boat ride over clear, clean waters from the Mozambique town of Biléne. Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.
