Sarah's place was absolutely perfect for a group weekend away. Really well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable. It was also within a short walk of the town centre and historic Cromwell.

We absolutely adored staying at Te Awa Lodge on our recent trip to Wanaka. It was a gorgeous riverside home with an amazing hot tub and sauna, which we loved using after our hikes. Graeme and Carolyn were such warm, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The property is easily accessible to Wanaka (10-15 min) and Mount Aspiring (1 hour) . Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

It’s a great place to spend a few days, as the views are spectacular with horses and sheep around the property! We surely enjoyed our stay at the place! Just that all the washrooms are clubbed together into a large one, with stalls for shower and toilets! It looked like a great place for hosting any event or such… Overall we did enjoy our stay thanks to the amazingly beautiful surroundings!

The house is very clean and well-equipped, and it is also convenient to drive to Queenstown

Four of us (couples in 70s & 30s) have just enjoyed a lovely 3 nights in Tarras..facilities exactly as set out, any questions/issues promptly resolved by friendly and welcoming host..the cottage particularly warm..other highlights looking up at the night sky and the wine tasting (and buying)..yes, an unsealed road on approach but no issues if driving appropriately..

Vicky was the perfect host as she was very responsive and was even responsive when we needed help during our stay. The place was perfect to feel like a home away from home as we loved the housing area, with a playground nearby for our kids. They even provided all the amenities for the baby - crib & high chair made it easy for our stay.

Unreal place, thanks for having us! Thank you for the hospitality we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We felt right at home. The property itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. It struck the perfect balance: private and peaceful, yet just a short drive or bike ride to some good restaurants. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the space so comfortable. The highlight for my family was Rusty — the hosts’ friendly dog who quickly became a daily companion and source of joy for my child. Watching them play together was such a delight and added an unexpected charm to our visit. This was easily one of our favourite BnB experiences and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful, well-located getaway with heart.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The views are absolutely amazing. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Everything was to high standard and attention to detail was great. The studio is very private. Karen and John went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very helpful.

This is a great spot for Arrowtown and exploring the area. Easy 15 minute walk into town and you get all the peace as well. The apartment has stunning views and is perfect for a couple- we had a 5 month old with us and actually perfect for that too! Belinda was agree host, dropping round the key for the gym/pool, and generally being really communicative

We stayed at the Kikorangi apartment for 10 wonderful days. The apartment was well appointed with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay….it felt like home. And the view…it was amazing! We spent a lot of time looking out the window at Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. The location of the apartment was the perfect base for Queenstown activities and road trips. It’s only a short drive to Queenstown, Arrowtown and Queenstown airport. Highly recommend staying at this apartment for a memorable stay.

From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us like family. We even (seriously) asked if she’d adopt us — and we’re 29 and 30! She’s the ultimate Kiwi mum: warm, thoughtful, and endlessly generous. She made my partner’s birthday so special with heartfelt touches we’ll never forget. Beryle went above and beyond in every single way. She was incredibly helpful in reviewing our itinerary and used her local knowledge to help us adjust our plans when the weather changed. Her advice was thoughtful, practical, and spot-on. I would use my last dying breath to recommend you stay with Beryle. This was more than a place to sleep — it was a highlight of our trip, thanks to one remarkable woman. Excellent communication, and entry instruction from Owner. Apartment was as listed, no surprises or disappointments. Short walk to supermarket/shops. We hired a vehicle. The car space provided was well positioned, and able to be locked when we were out, bonus. Side note: $10pp cash for 5min local bus to/from airport without a travel BeeCard. We stayed 2 nights in Queenstown and 3 nights with a vehicle at this AirBnB, overall I was very pleased with my choice. Recommend, Yes.

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Location is great with private parking so you don’t have to worry about finding one far away and shifting luggages. The place I clean and near most of the needed amenities, beautiful surrounding and walking distance to the lake. Full function kitchen with no restriction of what are allowed to be cooked. Jane is a wonderful host ensuring our safe arrival and proactively helped us check on the status of the road closure, ensuring our safe arrival. We were greeted with a warm welcome, chocolate and a pre warmed house. :)
