In this area, red-tiled farmhouses remain, and along with the natural environment, they are protected as a nationally important traditional building preservation district. At the old private house, you can enjoy nature and culture in a quiet environment with a 1000 m² field, and it is available for private use for only one group per day. In the garden, you can take a nature walk, harvest vegetables, and have a campfire, and many traditional crafts such as mud walls, plaster walls, Kutaniyaki, and Yamanaka lacquerware are used. The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off.
