In stormy weather, you can get very close to the sea and wind from the "easy chair" in the annex, or you can take a refreshing walk along the sea. The property is located in close proximity to fishing spots and many hiking options.

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down to the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14-foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new as of July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

Opplev magisk midnattssol, hvite strender og et rikt dyreliv med både elg, rådyr og havørn rett utenfor døra. ​Her kan dere prøve fiskelykken eller gå nydelige fjellturer. Like ved finner du Joker med kafé, og om sommeren kan du nyte nydelig bakst på Elias Blix-kaféen. Et perfekt sted for å finne roen sammen!
