Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gjirokastër

Hidden gem in Gjirokaster, away from the noise, but walkable to the castle and bazaar. House and grounds are just beautiful and the experience of staying in a three hundred year old building is not to be missed. Plenty of beds, two tiny full baths, and an amazing breakfast in the courtyard. Just fantastic. Make sure to follow the markers to Kubeja, as gps gets a little tricky in the neighborhoods.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ana, Mario und Vasili war erste Klasse. Alles war einfach perfekt. Die Lage, die Ruhe, die Gastfreundschaft, besser kann es nicht sein! Wir durften als erste Gäste in einem der soeben erstellten neuen und modernen Unterkunft übernachten, toll. Super Bett und herrliche Aussicht mit wunderschönem Sonnenuntergang. Gegessen haben wir vorzüglich in dem rund 50 Meter entfernten Restaurant. Super fein und ebenso äusserst freundliche Menschen. Zum Strand gingen wir immer zu Fuss, rund 15 Minuten nach unten und 30 Minuten hinauf. Die Bewegung hat perfekt gepasst. Der Strand ist herrlich, Sand und Stein mit einem Restaurant und Liegen zum Mieten, 10 Euro für zwei Liegen mit Schirm. Es gab kaum Leute, das Meer sauber und lädt auch zum Strandlaufen ein. Alles in allem, wer Ruhe wünscht, ein herrliches Plätzchen mit wunderbarer Aussicht und äusserst netten Gastgebern sucht, ist hier genau richtig, Wir empfehlen es sehr. Hatten Unseren Aufenthalt hier verlängert, so toll war es!

Andreas place in Borsh comes with a beautiful view over the sea from the terrace. Its location allows all those who seek a bit of silence and peace a good retreat for resting. It is recommended to come by car. However, for the people arriving by bus, Andreas can help with a taxi driver, who knows the location and can bring you there without any problems. He even picked us up from the supermarket nearby the bus stop, so we had all our groceries plus luggage and us shipped to the location. We liked to walk to the beach and didn't want to get around the other places there, so we came without car. At any point Andreas was quickly responding and helping us through any kinds of questions. I already recommended the place to another friend of mine. If you have doubts or questions try Andreas, he'll reply with the best intentions for you.

Wir haben uns auf unserer Wanderroute in der Unterkunft wunderbar ausruhen können. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns geholfen, ein Restaurant zu finden, das offen hat (außerhalb der Saison hat nicht viel offen in der Gegend). Wunderschöne Aussicht in einem ruhigen Dörfchen.

DON'T hesitate...book. this place is unreal. It is so unique. The little touches and the ambiance set this place apart. The host is amazing. So very accommodating.

Our family of four stayed one night on Thimjo's & Rita's Gues House in Gjirokaster, Albania, and cannot express enough how satisfied we are with our stay. Great compliments to Rania, who is a super host! This rental unit is located in a very convenient location, only one-minute walk from the Pazar! Everything was of excellent quality! The cleanliness of the entire unit was perfect. The structure and layout of the facility is great, with spacious and comfortable beds and with super nice views from the windows and balconies. The arrangement of furniture is with super nice taste. The last but not the least, Rania is a great host! She cares very much for her customers and is always reachable and responsive to all the inquiries. We left that rental unit with a very "warm and good feeling" about this place! Well done!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Ela Chalet, it was right in the middle of the city everything was close and easy to reach. The Chalet was clean and well kept and we would absolutely stay again.

wat een geweldig appartement, zeer ruim en schoon. dlDit appartement ligt op een geweldige locatie en heeft meerdere balkons met een prachtig uitzicht op het kasteel. Wij werden ontvangen door een zeer vriendelijke neef. Aurora is een geweldige verhuurder en ze doen alle moeite om het ons naar de zin te maken. ik raad dit verblijf ten zeerste aan!

Amazing place and amazing host, would stay again

Heerlijke sfeer in deze buurt. Goed gelegen. Zeer vriendelijke en correcte zoon en vader. Alleen het douchen is behelpen. Voor 1 -3 nachten zeker aan te raden!

Instructions très claires et logement conforme a la description! Propreté irréprochable et emplacement calme. Facile d’accès en voiture avec place de parking c’est un gros plus ! Je recommande fortement !

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans l'appartement d'Artur, situé dans la partie basse de Gjirokastër, à environ 20-25 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Le quartier est paisible et l'appartement conforme aux photos. Tout était d'une propreté irréprochable, et la literie particulièrement confortable. Le petit déjeuner, savoureux et généreux, était servi dans un charmant jardin. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Le logement était exactement conforme à la description : propre, bien aménagé, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un excellent moment. Il est aussi très bien situé, assez proche du centre, ce qui est très pratique. Et surtout, l’hôte a été super sympa et accueillant. C’était vraiment un séjour très agréable — nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Mathilda was such a nice host! We only stayed one night, but everything was perfect! It was super clean, the location is very central and the communication with Mathilda was super super easy-going and comforting! We would 100% recommend💖

We absolutely loved staying at this little place in the heart of Gjirokaster - it had so much character and made at feel right at home. We were so greatful for the hospitality of Edit’s brother Tony, helping us with finding a place to park & his recommendations. We also recommend Te Kubé, (the cafe the hosts’ own).The pistachio cookie was next level!!

Unsere Zeit in Gjirokaster war unvergesslich – nicht zuletzt wegen dieser ganz besonderen Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt malerisch oben am Berg mit einem traumhaften Blick ins Tal und auf die gegenüberliegenden, von der Sonne angestrahlten Hänge – einfach spektakulär! Ein echtes Highlight war die herzliche Gastfreundschaft von Adi und seiner Mutter. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Jeden Morgen wurde uns ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück serviert, das seinesgleichen sucht – mit regionalen, hausgemachten Spezialitäten, darunter frischer Börek, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wir können diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen – für alle, die Ruhe, Aussicht und echte albanische Gastfreundschaft suchen. Danke, Adi!

Our stay was really great, the place is quite calm but 15-20 walk from the center. Their is a parking spot in the house so very practical. Devi is very communicative and is here for any questions. I recommend.

L'appartement est conforme à la description, propre et bien situé. Par contre, il est difficile à trouver avec le peu d'informations données par l'hôte. Il faut chercher sur Google Maps le point Gps "Apartments Antigona" si vous voulez éviter les côtes à 20% et les rues pavés.

Tolle Unterkunft mit Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus, ca 15 min zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Etwas schwer mit Google Maps zu finden, aber Anduela gab uns detaillierte Anweisungen. Die Wohnung ist blitzsauber und hat alles, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiter.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katerina’s place. It was in a drivable distance from the city’s center and offered quiet respite from the noise. Katerina was generous enough to accommodate our last minute need to change the dates of our stay, for which we were extremely grateful. Everything in the apartment was as listed, though it’s worth noting that the AC unit is in the living room not the bedroom, a fact that we missed, however a fan is provided. The place was clean and well furnished. We recommend staying here!

Spent a great weekend in Gjirokaster for Easter and the apartment choice was perfect as it was easy to find, in a nice and peaceful neighborhood and was just like the photos posted on the listing. The host Evis was amazing very friendly, communicative and made sure that we felt at home. I would absolutely recommend the apartment for anyone looking to spend some days in Gjirokaster and will make sure to stay at the same place on my next time there. Thank you Evis! :)
