Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Glasgow

Don’t let the outside deter you, the inside is what you’re paying for. This apartment is located in a slightly run down neighborhood, which can seem a little unsettling at first- but once you get inside it’s everything they promised. Clean, comfortable and great communication.

Our stay at Ruaraidh's caravan was a great stopover for the two nights we needed to stay near Glasgow. Ruauraidh was very accommodating and enabled us to get an early entry to our accommodation as we were working to a tight timescale in Glasgow. We were very grateful for this. Ruaraidh was very communicative and the caravan was as shown in the photos.

very homely spot with plenty to do locally and easy to dine locally. One train stop from Glasgow city so ideal if you want to stay somewhere close to the city but avoid the hassle and bustle of the city. We felt right at home and worth every penny.

Had an amazing time, fabulous. Absolutely spotless. The apartment is in a lovely cul de sac and very quiet too. Kirsteen was a great host too. Always answered straight away if you needed to ask a question. Would highly recommend this Apartment to anyone we know travelling to Scotland. We would aldo return to it in the future.

Paul's place was a little out of our budget, but we're so glad we stayed here as it was truly worth every penny. It's located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Glasgow and it felt so peaceful and quiet. I never heard anything from the neighbouring flats, it almost felt like we had a private house all to ourselves. The huge windows gave a magnificent view our to the lush gardens, where we spotted squirrels, magpies and foxes throughout the day. Byres Road, the Botanic Gardens and Hillhead subway station were just a quick walk away. Finally, Paul was an amazingly responsive, accommodating and helpful host. We highly recommend this beautiful home and we definitely hope to stay again in the future!

Carla was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and so helpful when sadly our little boy took unwell during our trip. The house was fantastic - great location and exactly as described.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, always very responsive in any message sent. The house was very clean and supplied with everything needed for a stay. The location was perfect for what I needed. Milngavie and Bearsden town centres were close and also the train stations. A great location. The city centre is only 15 mins away and the motorway access was not so far either. Well worth a stay here’s

A beautiful home away from home! The perfect base to explore Glasgow — easy access to public transport, lovely walking routes, and a great way to soak up the charm of this vibrant city. We spent some spectacular days here as two families with kids aged 9 to 13, and it couldn’t have been better!

As a group of 3 friends, we absolutely loved our stay at Craig’s place - it was the perfect location for a base to exploring Glasgow! Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants, and the beautiful botanic gardens. Craig was super helpful and friendly. And having the extra sofa and chairs in the living room is excellent when there’s 3 of you!

The apartment is in a great location, right next to a subway stop for easy access to other parts of Glasgow. You can easily walk to many pubs, coffeeshops, restaurants, the botanical gardens and Kelvingrove Park. Really lovely space with high ceilings and windows that bring in a ton of natural light. I worked remote and the wifi was strong and stable. Bed was very comfy with cozy linens. Kitchen was equipped for cooking! Would stay here again

We loved our stay in this very comfy, clean flat. It had everything we needed. Kenny and partner were great hosts and showed us around, gave us instructions on how things worked and also gave us some very excellent recommendations for places to go, places to eat etc which was very much appreciated. The flat is in a good area, a short walk from the centre. The furnishings are excellent, very quirky and made the flat feel warm, cosy and very relaxing. We looked forward to coming back to flat after a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen is compact but again had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of drawers, hanging spaces and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. We loved the hidden bookcase. We were sad to leave our little holiday flat and would highly recommend it to anyone. we would definitely book again when we return to Glasgow.

The apartment is spacious & in a quiet neighbourhood. You can easily walk to restaurants, shops or catch the subway into central Glasgow. The location was also good for us since we had a very early flight & it was only a 15min taxi ride to the airport!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely spacious and comfortable flat in a very pleasant area with easy access to the train and parking. It was well equipped. We were met by Pat who was very friendly and showed us around and made sure that we were happy with everything in the flat. He gave us some local information about shopping and restaurants. Our only problem was that we did not master the larger television , but were able to use the one in the kitchen.

Both host and lady who checked us in were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was in a great location and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fabulous visit for a short weekend visiting friends. The house is stunning and in a perfect location in the west end. The rooms are nice and big, wonderful bathroom and our favorite part was the large kitchen! We would love to stay here again during our next visits and would 100% recommend!

Beautiful location with easy walking distance to museums, pubs/restaurants, transportation and local cultural events. Pierre was very accommodating re: our delayed arrival and responded timely when contacted.

This was a perfect place for our large family group to use as a home base to explore the area. The house and yard were great and it had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hosts, beautiful villa that lived up to our expectations. Hassle free arrival and departure. We would most definitely stay here again.

Could use a clothes dryer in addition to outside clothes line, due to Scottish weather. Location convenient for west end Glasgow.
