Ryan's Rest

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We spent 2 nights at Bernie’s while visiting West Cork. It is in a lovely spot just outside Skibbereen. The accommodation was spotlessly clean & modern, and we appreciated the milk, butter & bread. Bernie & her husband were both very welcoming, as were their 2 cats. We would stay again if visiting the area.

Holiday home in West Cork

The accommodation is spacious, clean, equipped with all necessities and is in a quiet, peaceful, well-ventilated place. The many grazing cows all around meant an idyllic atmosphere, the dogs were also good heads. We received fresh scones and home-made eggs. Michael showed me the farm at the end, which was a special experience. I'd come back anytime :)

Wind In The Willows

Marcel JohannesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My stay at this little apartment in the middle of the Irish countryside was simply wonderful. The cabin is set on a small hill, surrounded by gentle green waves of landscape, with views that stretch all the way to the sea. The photos hardly do it justice — the sea is much closer than I expected, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Anke and Kees are incredibly friendly and thoughtful hosts. Since I was travelling by public transport, they kindly picked me up in Schull and dropped me off at the bus stop again on my departure day. That was so considerate and made everything easy and relaxed. I spent three nights there in complete peace and seclusion — a perfect place to recharge and soak up the beauty of nature. From the apartment, you can set off on beautiful hikes, whether up into the hills or down to the beaches. The apartment was very clean, tidy, and very cosy. If you’re looking for tranquillity, nature, and a place to be self-sufficient, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Diarmuid and Helen were super accommodating! They were really flexible on my check in time, and were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was lovely and a great location for West Cork.

I booked this place for some in laws who were traveling for our wedding and boy did I score some major brownie points! It's in an ideal location, Michael was so easy going and helpful and the house was comfortable spotless and cozy. We were blessed with great weather so we got to make great use of the garden too! We were spoilt!

Cosy nest on the West Cork coast

Our stay at 'Turk Head', was more than we could have hoped for. The location of the property is perfect, if you are looking for a peaceful stay, with incredible wildlife and sea views on the door step. We cooked in the flat for 6 nights and didnt feel short on anything. In fact, Angie included lots of little extras, which didnt go un-noticed. The bed is super comfy and we slept perfectly. After busy days out exploring, then a pint on the way back at the local 'Minihans Pub', arriving home to that peaceful view, is something else. Angie was really friendly and made some great recommendations, we will definitely be back! Thankyou!
