Halls Gap Cottages- couples retreat ( Kookaburra)

SandraRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Halls Gap Cottages ( we stayed in Kookaburra) was wonderful. Everything was as we liked and very comfortable. Even in the middle of winter we were cosy. We talked to a kangaroo every morning in our side area. Just sad we didn’t manage to talk to any kookaburras. We would certainly recommend the cottage ( and you won’t need Pinowipes when you get there….spotless! ) to all. We stayed 4 nights and our souls have been recharged by Kookaburra Cottage and Halls Gap. Special.

What a wonderful two day stay at Emily's bungalow. Very quiet, easy to find, beautifully renovated, responsive host, good quality linen and a very generous breakfast offered. Will certainly return when in Horsham again.

Beautiful Grampians views, comfort, space & peace

VarunRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A true hidden gem in Victoria! The property is even more picturesque than the photos suggest, offering breathtaking views of the Grampians and surrounded by rich birdlife and native wildlife. Everything is exceptionally well kept. Kerry was an outstanding host—quick to respond and incredibly helpful. I definitely plan to return for a longer visit.

Wongaburra Woolshed

RileyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such an amazing time at Chris and Justin’s place! It was so peaceful and serene and exactly what we wanted as an escape to the country. Chris and Justin were so welcoming and friendly! They gave incredibly helpful instructions and were always in communication with us leading up to the trip. The place was incredibly quiet and private and had such beautiful scenery of the Australian outback. It was so great to be able to walk around the property and see all the wildlife and horses, which Chris and Justin were so passionate and informative about. 10/10 stay! Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Pillows & Jam

VivianRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Megan and Tim’s place was peaceful, well appointed, and wonderfully clean. It looked exactly like the photos and you could tell that each interior decision was intentional and considered. From the beautiful induction stove top to the soft bedroom linens, this space was made to be admired and lived in. Megan was responsive and even allowed an earlier check in time, which we appreciated. Thoughtful touches throughout the house added to the aesthetic but also had purpose, and we particularly enjoyed the indoor fireplace, selection of teas, cosy towels, heated bathroom flooring, and provided breakfast basket. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your beautiful Airbnb- we definitely will not forgot this experience!

The Old Post Office

MaisieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The old post office is an amazing place to stay. A really close walk to the river, we spent our mornings huddled up by the banks with a coffee in hand. Everything about Liz's place was perfect, super clean, and even provided little jams, teas, and coffee in the kitchen! For dinner, or just an afternoon bev, the Bunyip hotels is 2 doors down and offers cold drinks, a lovely beer garden on the riverbank, and friendly Victorian hospitality. Overall a fantastic place to stay as a base for hiking southern Gariwerd or just to escape to a wonderful country town for a night or two. Can't recommend enough.
