Such a fantastic little place to stay in Very comfortable and quite. Everything there that you need. So much better than staying in a motel or cabin. Feels like home. Neat and tidy nothing flash just how we like it

Such a great place to stay! Amazing fire place, bathroom insane and huge, bed comfortable and overall great house to relax in. Short drive into Halls Gap so it feels like it is in the middle Of nowhere but is actually really close to town. Kangaroos lived in the front yard and would come in pretty close. We had an amazing stay. Did some walks one day and then spent the day enjoying the fireplace and relaxing. A prefect house for this! We would stay again.

We had a very peaceful week, taking our two GSDs we were very happy to find a large, private and secure garden. A very peaceful street and just a short walk from the town centre. Lots of local options for food and drinks between Stawell, Pomonal and Halls Gap.

Lovely little cottage with a proper rustic feel. It was as clean as it could be. Checkin instructions were perfectly fine for us. Our (lovely) neighbour checking in to the nearby cabin however had trouble in the dark and ended up knocking on our door for a midnight chat leading to a surprisingly wonderful interaction between strangers in a strange place in a late hour of the night. T&J you made our stay entirely memorable. Haha.. Thanks Denise for a comfortable stay, we picked a good temperature day/night to stay.

Really enjoyed staying in this little gem, close to the shops and cafes but nestled amongst the trees. Would stay again

Glenrose cottage is exactly as advertised. Being an older (but lovingly restored) house it has its quirks, but this only adds to its character. The central heating is amazingly responsive - so don’t be put off by cold weather! Victoria as a host was quick to respond, and communicated clearly. Would recommend Glenrose to any who are considering.

Halls Gap Cottages ( we stayed in Kookaburra) was wonderful. Everything was as we liked and very comfortable. Even in the middle of winter we were cosy. We talked to a kangaroo every morning in our side area. Just sad we didn’t manage to talk to any kookaburras. We would certainly recommend the cottage ( and you won’t need Pinowipes when you get there….spotless! ) to all. We stayed 4 nights and our souls have been recharged by Kookaburra Cottage and Halls Gap. Special.

Cute little Eco-lodge, beautiful scenes to wake up to, and saw lots of lovely wildlife around the property. If you are staying here you are looking for a remote getaway, so there’s no shops within walking distance. Simple getaway for a bit of relaxation time!

A beautiful private little cottage with up to date facilities. Very clean. Love the location. Kate was very responsive to our requests. Her recommendation on restaurant choices were excellent! The food was fantastic! Will come back again next year! Thankyou for a beautiful stay.

The accommodation was great, clean, had everything we needed. Spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. It was warm and cosy, with heating in main living area and in both the upstairs bedrooms plus a wood heater we used at night that was lovely to sit around. Thanks Janet and Marcus for allowing us to stay at your lovely accommodation.☺️👍

Unbelievable location and accomodation, one of my favourite Airbnb’s thus far. The cabin is the perfect mix of old and new, and the views/environment are even better than the photos. They also provided a significant amount of firewood included in the price. Will definitely be back.

Joanne - what a fantastic location and place to stay. Bed was very comfortable and the whole house was impeccably clean. A great kitchen with everything we needed to cook ourselves. BBQ on the porch and the indoor wood fireplace - I couldn't recommend this accommodation highly enough to others. Thanks
