Out of the three Airbnbs I stayed at in Costa Rica, this was by far the best. Coraly’s place is tucked away in a quiet corner of San José—peaceful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The water pressure was amazing (a rare find!), and the shower was actually hot, not lukewarm like other places. Coraly was a phenomenal host—truly 10/10. She helped me pull off a surprise for my mom’s 60th birthday by connecting me with local vendors and even allowing someone to come decorate the space overnight. My mom woke up to the most beautiful surprise, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Coraly’s help. There was some construction going on in the condominium, but it was never noisy in the evening and didn’t affect our stay at all. I felt safe, supported, and completely at ease. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San José.

We are already the second time to work… we gather our work team and it is super comfortable because everyone has their bathroom for comfort. It has many spaces that can be used for planting and work times. The green areas and their recreation places are great for times of sharing and uniting the team. They have absolutely everything you could need, the two kitchen areas are super equipped It's really a place just to get there and take a personal thing because everything else is supplied. No complaints about anything is a beautiful place.

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

I liked my stay at Silvia's house. It is located on safe, lovely and very green district, several good supermarkets and cafes are in a walking distance. The house completely matches all the photos here. It is very spacious and bright, with sunshine goes into many windows. The main bed is super-comfy, kitchen is equipped with all necessary stuff. The bathroom is a little bit tight, but everything works good. The only problem for me was noise in the mornings from trucks on the road close to the house. But it is my personal impression, who lives in big cities might be familiar with that. Silvia and her family are really warm and kind people! They always tried to help me with all small problems I faced. Thank you for your care and hospitality! I definitely could recommend this place for travellers seeking the whole house to rent. And Silvia speaks English well and replies to messages really quickly.

The cottage is very nice and practical. It has a beautiful view and the weather is very pleasant, it is next to the road so sometimes you can hear the noise of cars and motorcycles but it is something minimal for such a nice place, I highly recommend it and the host is very friendly:)

This is one of those gems that if happen to be fortunate enough to find, jump on it right away!! Caveat… As you are approaching the place the neighborhood may seem kinda scary but once you get to the location you’ll be incredibly surprised at the pace and tranquility that you’ll have. The view from the unit is absolutely breathtaking. Just the view of the city is worth the price you pay to stay there. Everything inside the condo is pristine! Never saw any bugs or worse (roaches) . I will definitely base my next trip to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 based off the availability of this place. Yes, it is that good !

Comfortable apartment, well located with restaurants at the foot of the building. Completely secure neighborhood and building. Secure parking. Many quality services available for entertainment. Very responsive and friendly host who was able to help us when we needed it.

Omar was 100% the best host I’ve ever experienced from the quick responses to the helpful information advice I couldn’t have asked for a better stay I 100% recommend staying with Omar if you’re going to be looking for an Airbnb in barrio Escalante, it is close by everything and the staff in the building are extremely helpful. If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.

Beautiful place for those who want to enjoy nature without having to drive much outside the GAM. Daniela and Cesar's house is beautiful, full of architectural details and interior design that make it very pleasant. I visited with my family during the rainy season and it couldn't be more perfect to enjoy the storm from the huge windows of the house, to see the mist in the mountains that are the view of the property. A super quiet and peaceful place. We hope to return soon!
