We had a great time at the house with our kid and friends visiting from abroad. The house is very modern and spacious. The view is fantastic. We had everything we needed for a chill long weekend. Per Inge replied all our messages very fast. We appreciated flexibility with check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house with a perfect view over the mountains, truly breathtaking! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and beautiful nature.

We had an amazing stay with the family! The home was clean, tidy and well maintained. The area was quiet and child friendly, and at the same time just a short drive away from several exciting attractions. Rita was welcoming and responded quickly to inquiries. Really enjoyed and can definitely recommend the place further.

Absolutely astonishing location—perched high on the hillside with breathtaking views over pine forests. Each evening brought a spectacular sunset just outside the back door, and mornings were filled with the most incredible birdsong: bullfinches, greenfinches, flocks of fieldfares, chaffinches, goldcrests, willow warblers, and many others. The natural beauty and peace of this place are truly special… a perfect retreat for nature lovers. Highly recommended.

The cottage is very cosy. We enjoyed it very much.

Awesome and cosy cabin. Good location with nice view. Very close to the ski slopes. Interior and color scheme was fresh and of high quality. Good beds and duvets. Very well equipped kitchen. Cleanliness was good. And communication with the landlord was quick and easy. Very nice service from there. Recommended!

Spent a weekend at this cabin with my family and it was exactly what we wanted. It was enough space for everyone to sit down together or to get away a little bit to relax. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Would highly recommend this place if you want to have a relaxing trip with your family!

Very nice cabin. Lots of different zones for coziness both outside and inside. Well equipped! Very good ambiance. A short car ride to the core of Golsfjellet with lots of hiking trails, bike paths and fishing. We rented the cabin for almost two weeks and we were not bored. The host was easy to communicate with. Everything was fine upon arrival.

New and nice cabin with top location on Golsfjellet. Large cabin with plenty of space for several adults, tidy and neat. We had a lot of fun and will be happy to come back 🤩

We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin had everything we needed - the views were breathtaking and the proximity to the lake was unbeatable - the kids loved the lake and went swimming (even when there was still snow on the ground - brrr). Overhead high voltage lines over the jetty makes fishing unwise - please note! But the breathtaking views and position of the cabin make it unique and we would like to visit again!! Cost, wood burner, lots of relaxing spaces - cannot speak highly enough of Forde-Vik’s friendliness and responsiveness throughout !!

The cabin is in a very beautiful location with great views. It’s peaceful and cosy. It worked really well for our group and we enjoyed the sauna. Only small problem was that the hot tub wasn’t functional (frozen pipes) which was disappointing but apart from that it was great.

Nice and practical cabin with the amenities it promised. We were four ladies on a ski and ski tour in Hemsedal. Nice size for us with room for equipment and possibilities for drying clothes etc. Plenty of space for parking of our two cars. Dry wood available and good fireplace in the living room/kitchen meant that we got the heat up there relatively quickly when we got up Friday night. Heating cables provided nice warmth this weekend. Appreciated quick responses to our inquiries and especially flexibility around checkout time. Thank you - we'd love to come back!

Vigdis is a sweet and welcoming host. She writes back quickly and is helpful. The cabin is perfectly located for a large trail network and has a beautiful view. The cabin is clean, cozy, and well disposed. We highly recommend “Vidsyn”

We spent the week over New Year's Eve as two couples with two dogs in this cozy cottage and were all (people and dogs) absolutely thrilled. In front of the front door a winter wonderland, the possibility to go for a walk directly and all this in a very quiet location. The cottage itself is super cozy, well equipped and offers a beautiful view - perfect for game nights, raclette or just reading in front of the fireplace. Lasse responded to inquiries in a friendly, quick & uncomplicated manner. Overall, highly recommended!

Super cozy cabin with great views and immediate proximity to cross country tracks, in addition to a super host! The cabin has everything you need of kitchen utensils, TV, BT speaker, large bathroom, towels and bed linen, and not least a sauna. Great outdoor area for both dogs and children :) Recommended!
