This quiet cottage is nestled amongst mature native trees in iconic Totara Avenue, 10 mins from Collingwood, and overlooking a tidal estuary and bush-clad hills, with the beach just over the road. The spacious open plan kitchen, dining, living area is private and sunny. The main bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a queen and two singles in a bunk. Kōtuku has a wooden deck along two sides, where you can sit and enjoy the view, or you can watch the tides from a private jetty.

The house is located approximately 5 minutes walk to either the main beach and within 1 minute of riding you can assess the bike park.

The back of the property runs down to a safe tidal estuary that's very popular with children to play around in canoes and small boats. There is a 50m walking track to the main beach just across the road and there is a boat ramp further down the beach. This cottage is ideal for a family or small group wanting a holiday at one of NZ's most beautiful beaches, or as a base to explore the greater bay area.
