Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. The home is completely off the grid, generating its power from solar, and has many modern conveniences including full size fridge, industrial stove, solar hot water, wifi and a brand new dipping pool off of the deck.

(Wifi has been spotty lately) We are featuring the Garden House, which you are welcome to enjoy anything that is in season from the garden, including; ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and a variety of other edibles.
