Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

Great place in Pavones! Only a couple of minutes from the wave. La Pina is really good food and right next door. Eric is awesome! He'll help you with anything you need. Lots of space, plenty of beds, good A/C. Top spot for a surf trip 🤙

Nao and her family were simply amazing. We only wished we stayed longer! The house is near beach and the town.

This apartment is very near from Airport and has everyrhing for your staying in Puerto Jimenez.

La Veranda is a gem. Beautifully designed and furnished. One of the best places we’ve stayed anywhere. It puts the pura in pura vida.

We loved this air bnb so much we want to go back next time we are in Costa Rica! Brais, the co-host was incredibly helpful and communicated to us through our stay to make sure it went smoothly. The hospitality was above and beyond expectation. The house is beautiful and has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, which we loved. The property is gorgeous and we were visited by squirrel monkeys and macaws each morning. A very special place, we are happy we got to enjoy it!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to leave your car and take the boat to Drake Bay. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable and great AC. Sara and her husband were very helpful. We parked our car in the gated area on their property for several days while we were at Drake Bay for a small daily fee. They also took us to the boat in the morning and picked us up when we came back. It was pouring rain when we came back and Sara invited me into her home(her and her husband live next-door) to change out of my wet clothing and offered my husband and I some coffee. They are wonderful hosts, very warm and personable. They made our trip to Drake Bay stress-free. I can’t recommend her place enough and next time I come to Sierpe I will once again book her place.

Wir hatten mit unseren beiden Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Joanna. Haus, Garten und die Nähe zum Strand sind traumhaft. Gerade für Familien sehr empfehlenswert! Nur ist die angezeigte Lage in der Anzeige nicht der Realität entsprechend, weswegen wir große Probleme hatten das Grundstück zu finden.

Todo excelente! don Melvin es una persona súper atenta,amable y servicial, incluso nos ayudó con nuestro vehículo averiado a remolcarlo,revisarlo y demás…. Sin palabras para el trato que recibimos tanto por el como por la gente de la zona, Súper atento con todo lo requerido y siempre de una manera muy amable En cuanto al lugar, un paraíso escondido Instalaciones preciosas y muy equipadas,todo en perfecto estado y funcionamiento….

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Santina. At first, we found the separate living and sleeping quarters to feel a bit more rustic that we were accustomed to, but we quickly acclimated and enjoyed the intimate connection to the nature (massive toads and all). The home is refreshing minimal yet still inviting and had everything we needed to cook and relax at home. La Santina is centrally located to multiple surf breaks, restaurants, and markets. We always drove, so I can’t comment on the walk. But the highlight of our stay was our host, Carmen, who was responsive, helpful, kind, but never intrusive and just everything you’d want in an Airbnb host. We highly recommend La Santina as a home base for your next Pavones surf adventure.

El lugar fue fácil de encontrar gracias a las instrucciones claras de Yali. Tuve buen internet en todo momento, lo que me permitió a mis adolescentes estar tranquilos. La cocina es excelente y pude preparar mis alimentos a gusto. Mi familia disfrutó de un ambiente sano y seguro. Yali fue una anfitriona excepcional, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar. Recomendamos este lugar a todos los que buscan un refugio tranquilo y acogedor.
