Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Goulburn River

I had booked this beautiful home for our wedding weekend. Shelly was super responsive and allowed us to check in early which was so appreciative. We also had our little dog with us (he was our ring bearer for the wedding) Shelly made it clear that the house wasn’t fully gated and I appreciated this. The place itself is gorgeous, beautiful clean rooms and decor and the greenery was so idyllic. I can’t wait to see my pre wedding photos that we took there as I think they’ll turn out beautiful! Thanks again Shelly, you were so responsive with my questions and so accommodating to our needs.

Within comfortable walking distance to town centre and eateries. Good secure double garage. Well appointed residence in a pleasant area. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully return soon.

awesome little place perfect for a quiet getaway

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

Second time we’ve stayed at Cassandra’s place, great dog friendly property with everything you need, Walking distance to town, lovely fire place and a fire drum outside, well fenced for dogs, we will definitely visit again as we love Beechworth.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

Pops place was lovely for a family getaway. With a wonderful decking and massive backyard there was plenty of room for everyone. The home itself had such a nice homey feel and was decorated so well, with so many different places to rest & relax.

Such a cozy air bnb for a relaxing winter getaway. Great heaters to keep the house warm, comfy beds with nice linen, recommend taking some bath crystals along to have a soak in the tub. Dog friendly property that is fully fenced with a large verandah including table, chairs & fairy lights. Town centre about a 5 min drive away. Overall great stay & good location to explore Yarra Valley & surrounds.

The house & unit suited us perfectly (6 adults & 4 young children). There was lots of room both indoors & out for the kids (they made great use of the swings/slide). Plus a lovely big table for us all to eat at & great for group board/card games. The extra unit was very a lovely, quiet retreat if needed. The hosts were super responsive whenever I contacted them & when we had an issue (they came to sort it out immediately). Many thanks for contacting me immediately about an item left behind! The added extras of games for all ages, chopped wood for outdoor fire-pit, good supply of basic things (like oil, spices, salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, toilet paper) was great. Amazing views in all directions!

Chris is an amazing host, very communicative and had setup the house like I was family. The property is amazing and we made full use of the pool and hot tub. The scenery is stunning! The fireplace was exactly what we needed and we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the bungalow. Andrew and Christine were warm and welcoming. They did everything to accommodate our needs and were so kind to let us bring our dog to stay. We look forward to staying again ! Thank you

We returned for another gorgeous mini break and love this extraordinary house and rural outlook with dog friendly spaces. Short drive to great local cafe ☕️ and pub and a bit further for wineries walking trails and country gifts John is a wonderful host.

From start to finish this was hands down the best accommodation I have ever rented, and there has been a lot. The cleanest home I have stayed in. outstanding layout, comfort fit for a queen the beds were so comfy. The outdoor entertaining area was absolutely fantastic big enough for everyone to enjoy. the small things like plumbed in gas to the BBQ, little fire pit , awesome pool with lights, party lights in a great undercover space. plenty of prep space in the kitchen. the kids had an absolute ball running around the yard. The only thing I can say made our stay tricky was there was no steamer to cook veggies, no strainer, no big pot to cook pasta. apart from that you offered so much more with our beautiful welcome gifts, basic supplies and every gadget you could think of. the freezer with never ending ice was such a luxury. we enjoyed everything so much we will absolutely be back if you will have our crew again. Well located house with a lot of charm and many great spaces to enjoy your stay in. It was a very pleasant place for our family to stay.

Karen's place is truly amazing. The apartment is modern , comfortable, clean and very private. It was kept warm inside day and night (ceiling duct heating) in entire apartment. That was fantastic considering winter temperatures. We found everything what we needed during our stay. The fire pit outside gave us a special atmosphere at night , and the open view up to horizon night allowed us to admire sunrise and sunset. It was amazing.we also loved company of 2 golden retrievers and calfs behind the fence. All of these made our stay very relaxing and special. Please accept our big thank you, Karen.

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Nicole was an excellent host too.

Our stay was amazing ! Our group loved the location for the activities that we had intended. The accomodation was ideal for our group. There were areas people could congregate and socialise and there were areas where people could chill and relax. We would love to stay again. Highly recommend !

Had a lovely short stay at Mary’s place. It’s a cute cottage containing everything you need to feel at home, and Mary was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Can’t recommend Feathertails highly enough. Thanks Mary!

'Micks place' - what a great space! Short walk to the local "Tatong Tavern' which is awesome for a drink and a meal. Furniture and style is welcoming and it all still looks like new. The beds are really comfortable as are the kitchen chairs. Excellent amenities and nice and clean We loved it, we will be back Trace and Co.

Beautiful tiny house on the farm, surrounded by cows, kangaroos and even a wombat! Host made us feel so welcome and the place was spotless. Our pup loved exploring along the creek and playing with the neighbour’s dog too!

What a beautiful weekend away in the tranquil walnut farm groves of the apline region - with birds-sheep-cattle-foxes to keep us company- and our dog could run around and enjoy life while the fire kept us toasty warm. Ronaldo has completely undersold this place as a gem for the region - will visit again

This cottage was absolutely gorgeous! We spent the weekend here and went to the Delatite winery nearby. The cottage is such a unique find and had all the amenities we would need. Lots of small details and care taken to make it feel so comfortable. A rustic accomodation but that’s what made it so special. Our trip was in autumn close to winter so was very cold but if you have someone on the trip who is good with fireplaces and bring warm clothing then it’s perfect! There’s also heaters in every room so we had no issues. It’s such a special find and I wish we could go back already!

We had such a wonderful stay at Two Rivers Lodge in Acheron. So quiet, peaceful, homely and relaxing. The property was beautiful inside and out. I think I found my happy place here. My family and I will definitely be returning.
