Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Built from Larch & Spruce cured to a dark finish, this secluded one bed-roomed chalet blends into the surrounding Poplar forest nestled next to a running stream. A King size bed, a luxurious bathroom with sliding door onto deck for a indoor/outdoor shower experience. The living-room/ kitchen is stylishly furnished & is fully equipped, with under counter fridge & gas hob, and a wood burning fireplace. Although it is styled as a one bedroom, two person cabin, there is a queen sized open pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest and can be made up for small extra fee. Almond cottage is set back from the lake and enjoys views of farmland and mountains.
