Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Greene County

We were very, very pleased with our stay. Shane & Linda accommodated our last minute booking. They were very quick to respond to all of my questions. The home itself is very cute. Love the rustic, country vibe. Sitting on the porch swing, reading, listening to the birds chirping and enjoying nature was just exactly what I needed. The kids enjoyed lounging around, playing the board games provided. This is the first rental we’ve stayed at that actually has COMFORTABLE BEDS!!! The only thing that some people might consider an issue is cell phone/wifi reception is a bit slow and spotty. BUT that is exactly what we needed for this vacation. This made all the kids and adults have to engage and interact without devices. Using the fire pit to make s’mores was one of the highlights. The home itself is clean, comfortable and has a lived in feel that allows you to relax. The kitchen could use a bit more pot/pans selection, but overall, there was a full stock of all necessary items for a home.

This was the perfect place for our weekend stay! A beautiful home and location that was so peaceful and serene. The house has a timeless feel with gorgeous furnishings that helped us feel right at home. The home was spotless and so clean. We will definitely be staying here again! We loved every minute of this stay. The fire pit in the back yard and beautiful porch in the front were the perfect touches. We recommend this home highly!!

We had a blast. It was absolutely perfect. Rain on the tin roof looking over the rolling hills. Couldn’t ask for better!! The games stocked in the house were perfect for our 9 and 6 year old. Would highly recommend and would like to come back soon!

This is by far the best one we have stayed at. It was my first time booking myself, but have stayed at plenty that my daughter booked. You could literally eat off the floor. Kelly made us feel very welcome as soon as I reserved it, weeks before I arrived. I am so grateful to her for allowing us to stay there. You get a lot of home for your money.

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

This place was perfect for my huge family. My parents, plus siblings, spouses and kids. 13 of us total. The yard was great for letting the kids run around and the firepit was awesome on a cold day. The home is essentially two homes in one. The top floor was perfect for all the grandkids to sleep and play (ages 2 years to 9 years old). They had a pack-n-play for the youngest kid. The downstairs was kept clean and comfortable when adults wanted to relax away from the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. It should be known that this place is very remote, the closest grocery store was 25 minutes away, and it was 45-60 min to get to Asheville. It was nice for us to enjoy the privacy of this place, but we also took some day trips into Asheville. We would definitely stay here again!

We were visiting family in the area with our three dogs. This house was the perfect location - just minutes to everything we needed. Spacious yard to walk the dogs. House was bigger than I thought it would be with plenty of common area.

This cabin was the most wonderful place I've ever stayed. Nathan was super helpful and so nice. I didn't feel comfortable driving my suv up the mountain after going halfway up it already lol. I called Nathan and he came to my rescue and drove it up and then let us use his UTV for the whole stay. I did not want to leave. I can't wait for my next stay at this cabin! Thank you Nathan!!

This is a great place to stay if you're wanting a secluded and romantic getaway. It's the kind of place where if it rained the whole time you're there (like it did for us), you wouldn't care because it's so cozy and well-equipped. Plus, the sound of rain on the metal roof is soothing. The owners have done a great job with the decor and all of the thoughtful touches. Keep in mind that if you're planning on making a visit to downtown Marshall part of your vacation, many of the reviews you'll find online of downtown are pre-hurricane Helene. The town (and most of the restaurants and shops) were destroyed. They had started to rebuild when we were there (April), but almost nothing was open yet. So, check before you go.

The hosts are extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The drive up is quick and easy. The landscaping is beautiful. The cabin is so peaceful with a beautiful screened in porch with string lights that add a very cozy touch. The porch has ample seating and a swing, great for enjoying the sounds of nature and clean air! When you walk in there is an open floor plan, great for mingling with your friends/family. The kitchen is supplied with utensils and appliances making it super accessible to make your own meals. The living room/dining area are beautifully decorated. The seating is comfortable and plentiful. The bathroom is adorable, well stocked and clean. The bedroom has a lot of storage space and very well kept. You melt into the bed and pillows making it feel so luxurious!The easy access laundry room has a large closet for anything you need to hang and a workspace. There are plenty of outlets in every room for easy access. Pleasant neighborhood dog. No problems!!

We absolutely loved our stay,Very peaceful and the trees around the house made it very private which we loved…. This house was also very clean and spotless and I could definitely appreciate this coming from a long line of house cleaners….. Everything you would need is already provided which we loved except for your own groceries….. we definitely recommend this place!!!!!

This was a last minute trip, my first time using this app and stying in an Airbnb. Tom was a great host, the cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was very clean, it was nice waking up to see horses outside grazing and even some kitties running around. If you want a peaceful and beautiful cozy cabin to getaway you definitely should check out this cabin.

It is a beautiful house in a very beautiful location, however, despite the photos, there is neighbors pretty close by.

The cabin was exactly as described and had everything you’d need to spend some time in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Location was near Greeneville and was an excellent base for the show we attended. I would caution prospective renters to read the description carefully as the place is unique. If it sounds good to you then don’t hesitate. My only regret is not staying longer. Thanks Randolph!
