Sarah's place was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful neighborhood setting. It featured a spacious loft with everything I needed including a comfortable bed, cozy sitting area, large desk, and a terrific shower. Very walkable to Mount Eden and the village nearby with a variety of restaurants and shops. Sarah was easy to contact and always responsive to questions. I highly recommend Sarah's place as an excellent choice in lodging if you are visiting Auckland.

Devonport is a lovely seaside village surrounded by good walks, a great beach, excellent shops and a regular ferry service to the city. After a long trip I wanted to have a little space, quiet and me time before travelling around NZ. This place was just what I needed. The wee house is nestled in a sunny, green garden with the sound of birds tweeting away. It has a separate entrance and is very private. The place was spotless, had a good kitchen and an excellent shower. There’s plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed. Anne is a super friendly host and made me feel at home. Would I recommend this place to stay. Emphatically. Yes!

It’s hard to find enough superlatives to describe our stay at Fiona’s. The apartment itself was superb with everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Fiona and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for us as it was so incredibly close to the yacht club where we were attending a junior regatta. Despite being attached to the owners home, the apartment is very private and quiet. If we ever need to stay in Howick again there’s no question we would love to stay at Fiona’s again.

The retreat feels like a private sanctuary, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the retreat's crown jewels is its stunning swimming pool, which is perfectly framed by the surrounding landscape. The pool’s waterfall is beautiful, the water is crystal-clear, making it a great place to take a dip or lounge under the sun. For an extra touch of luxury, there is also a heated spa pool that offers complete tranquility. The spa pool is perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. A true gem that blends luxury, culture, and relaxation effortlessly.

I appreciated Brenda's flexible check in & her sending a photo of the garage & driveway as there are lots of parked cars on a narrowish road blocking the view until you are right there. The location was very handy for our evening event & handy to the Orekei Basin & East Coast Bays walking & biking trails. Brenda is friendly, relaxed & onto it, communication-wise. If you have a low to the road front bumper like on my old Toyota Corolla, you might want to park on the street, as there is footpath berm when you come out of the driveway. I enjoyed meeting Max the dog! Excellent affordable accommodation.

Lovely quiet location, just what we were looking for. We arrived in the dark but we're met in the cul der sac by chance, and shown right to the studio. We were very grateful. Warm and cosy, super comfortable bed, fabulous shower / bathroom facilities. All we needed for our overnight stay. Thank you for having us!

Such a lovely peaceful place close to city but on the edge of Waitakeres and close to west coast beaches like Piha. We used it as a springboard to theatre in the city, lovely hiking around Arataki visitor centre and a comfortable drive to Piha. Close to many supermarkets. Comfortable and warm. If u like cooking as we do the full kitchen makes that easy. Lovely all round.

This was the fourth time that my daughter and I have stayed at Jacqueline's place. We enjoy staying at her place for several reasons: it is a very aesthetically pleasing unit in a very peaceful location. Jacqueline and Aliva are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants, grocery and all other types of stores are easily reachable.

The stay was truly enjoyable, with beautiful, clean, and cozy accommodation. The host was very welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

The ideal studio for us, waking up to bird song, in walking distance of Grey Lynn village and easy access to the city.

Wonderful place! My partner and I felt right at home the moment we stepped in. Has everything you need. Titirangi is lovely spot too. And as described in the listing, it's a 30min drive in a directions to the airport, CBD, and the west coast beaches which we absolutely loved. Pete is super friendly and responsive too! Would 100% recommend this place.

I had an amazing stay at Sue’s place! The location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk to the beach in a peaceful neighbourhood. The studio was also super quiet, clean, and private, and had everything I needed (the kitchen was well equipped too)! Sue was really nice and friendly – always quick to reply and checked in from time to time to see if I needed anything. I had such a great two weeks here and would absolutely stay again next time I’m in Auckland. Highly recommend!

Russell and Alison's cottage was absolutely perfect - impeccably clean, modern kitchen and bathroom and all the amenties we needed. It was private and with a lovely view across the valley. My daughter and I had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Jane’s lovely studio. It was beautifully furnished, clean and very well kitted out. The location was perfect for exploring Auckland - easy access to Ponsonby Road, close enough to the CBD but also space on the street for us to park our car (which Jane kindly sorted) for trips further afield. Jane was also very friendly, responsive and thoughtful. We particularly appreciated the folder of great restaurant recommendations, the fresh coffee and milk waiting for us on arrival and Jane’s kind offer to help find a home for some kitchen staples we had left over (as we were at the end of a long trip in New Zealand) so that they didn’t go to waste! We would thoroughly recommend here as a place to stay if visiting Auckland 😊

Booked the house for 2 of our workers for the week as it was close to the house site we were working on. Our guys enjoyed their stay, location was great for them and they really enjoyed being out in the country. Highly recommend to everyone.
