Boat holiday rentals in Groene Hart

We loved our stay here. It was central to everything we wanted to see and do, incredibly walkable, lively and comfortable. The space was exactly as it appeared in the photos, and it was a very unique way to experience Amsterdam and everything it has to offer! If we are back in the city we will certainly be booking again!

We thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend aboard Johan's houseboat, in a great location in the Jordaan! It was an experience simply not available in a hotel or B&B. We drank morning coffee and late afternoon cocktails on the deck whle soaking up the few remaining days of late summer sun. It was ideally located close to neighborhood restaurants, shops, and even weekend organic food and flea market, and a short walk to tourist attractions in the old city center. If not up for a longer walk along the canal to the museum quarter and beyond, a public transportation options were always available nearby. Communication prior to arrival and during our stay was proactive and prompt. The inside of the houseboat was even more spacious than we anticipated, and the beds were comfortable. We'll definitely opt for a stay here during our next visit to Amsterdam!

If you want a true taste of Amsterdam, Jaap’s place is a perfect fit. The historic accommodations right on the canal make you feel like one of the residents. Sitting on the boat and watching the other canal boats go by was a favorite pastime of our stay. Nighttime was gorgeous with the lights on the boat and the city reflecting in the water. Inside, the space was so unique and perfectly accommodated the four of us! Stores to purchase delicious baked goods and groceries were nearby as well as places to sit down and grab some local fare. We loved our stay here and already are talking about how we can come back to Japp’s amazing canal boat! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to share in a true taste of this very special city!

We had an amazing stay on the boat! Our group of eight friends found everything clean and well-maintained. The two showers were a big plus, and we loved the common area for hanging out. The Bluetooth speaker was a great touch too!

The house boat was just as it looked in the pictures! It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. It was perfect how the kids sort of had their side, or wing, and my husband and I had our space in the master bedroom, on the other side. We all slept very well! We loved the cats, Skip & Bo. We are animal people, so it was fun having them come and go, and socialize and snuggle with us! The views were amazing and there were plenty of spots to just chill when we weren't out exploring. The house boat was very walkable to many fun spots and different areas. We definitely felt like we were staying in someone's home versus a rental. Enjoyed all of the personal touches in the kitchen as well! We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Joost's place without hesitation!

We stayed several places in the Netherlands and our time with Sandra was everyone’s favorite. The boat is small (like all boats) but our group of 16 was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook our meals and hang out in the dining area. You are the crew—Sandra is a great teacher and host. Great communication and suggestions for a sailing schedule. We loved Enkhuizen the most!

Very nice ship in great location in Leiden! Each cabin has a small bathroom. We really enjoyed the trip.

It was amazing!!! What an experience and even if the weather wasn't there, we loved this moment of joy and relaxation as a family. I would highly recommend this unique experience.

Very nice peaceful location

Can highly recommend staying here. So nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing in Amsterdam. Near bus stop, 10 mins walk away, takes you straight to Amsterdam Central station. Get off at bus stop before station if you do not need metro, we walked everywhere. We used credit card each for bus, swipe on and then swipe as you get off, about 7 euro return. The Johanna is just a joy to be on, comfortable and clean with stunning views. Everything that you need and more is supplied. Sandra and her partner are a joy to deal with, checking in with us to ensure all was ok.

Marcel was a great host and was easy to communicate with. The Airbnb was fantastic and provided us with everything we needed.

Nice host, nice space. Bedrooms are of course small. Beds are good. No dishwasher. We didn't mind but good to know. Beautiful berth.

Arjan responds quickly and is nice. The boat is a wonderful place to stay. I had a great sleep. I gave him feedback on something and he took it seriously. Very nice place and I could just come back again.

We had a wonderful stay and intensely enjoyed the boat. Everything was provided and the boat is fantastically equipped. We did miss some (extra) blackout on the boat, because without curtains it was very quickly light in the morning. ;-)

Great, Zeeland what it's like If you want to sail or use the boat as a holiday base with 2-3 people, Jan is the right place for you. Jan knows Tholen, Zeeland and the surrounding area, is always very nice and approachable. We enjoyed the holiday very much. Luxury or upscale comfort is not to be expected and must cope with the conditions of a sailing tour. It's like camping in the harbor and the harbor is something special. Lots of other nice people, international, you talk to each other and help. Shops are around the corner, fresh croissants and Dutch specialties 250m walk, Albert Hein and Aldi 600m on foot. In the small galley with two cookers, we were able to cook deliciously. Washing machine, dryer, showers, dishwasher and toilets are available in the harbor complex and clean. You can fish from the boat and the 4 beaches are 10-15min by car and Jan has plenty of tips where you can go and there is good food. Thanks 🙏

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever booked or stayed at. Gerben and Albert were excellent hosts and were so kind and friendly! The houseboat looked even more extravagant than in the photos which I didn’t think was possible! I would 100% book again and cannot wait to be back in Amsterdam to stay here. Also the location was perfect, within the heart of Amsterdam with so many shops, restaurants, and bars nearby.

This was a fun place to stay. There are 2 transit stops within a 5 minute walk. It was a few minutes walk from the metro station and super easy to find. Koko was responsive and made sure to communicate before check in so it was a breeze.

We had a very pleasant stay on Hans' boat. A lovely place to enjoy and a great base to do everything.

The boat Amalia is unique and well placed for both transport and exploring the wonderful city of Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our unforgettable stay.

Had a great stay! The ship is equipped with every comfort. Despite the fact that the beds look cramped, everyone slept wonderfully and it was very cozy. Next time we will hopefully have better weather, then we can enjoy the deck more. Thank you Xandra and Marco!

Everything is great! The accommodation is just great, we felt very comfortable, everything very well equipped. Location super central in the historic harbor next to the shipping museum with water taxi stand right next door. Moniek also recommended us a parking garage right around the corner for parking. Processing very nice and easy. We highly recommend this property.
