The “Casa do Feitor” is a part of an old house in Quinta do Vilar, located in the Douro Valley. You'll be surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. There are farm animals and a mediterranean forest with oak, cork oak and arbutus trees. This is an eco-system which we look after with the utter most love and respect. It's our mission to honour, regenerate and preserve this system by respecting its identity including all the elements which take part in it.

It’s fully renovated, converted in an idyllic, peaceful and charming home. At Casa do Curral, you can find all the comforts for a good stay away from the crowds and in the tranquility of a small mountain village. Walking tours through the Teixeira stream valley, along the old postal route, offer different landscapes in each season. The House is located in Ramela, a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Guarda with 218 inhabitants, composed of 4 attached villages: Aldeia Nova, Aldeia Ruiva, Serra da Borja and Dominga-Feia.

Our Chalet is located on a 3-hectare fenced farm, located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. A calm and tranquil place where you can enjoy nature and observe the local fauna, through walks through the pine forest, or choose to follow the stream to its source. You can also relax in our pool. Ideal for relaxing with family or friends. We accept all animals. The farm, Chalet, garden and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the guests.
