Pros: - Great Location:The property is situated in an excellent location, making it easy to access local beaches and shops. - Access to Three Pools: Guests have the luxury of choosing from three nice pools, perfect for relaxation and fun. - Well-Stocked Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals during your stay. - Washer/Dryer: The availability of a washer and dryer, along with provided laundry pods, made it convenient to keep clothes clean. - Coffee Pods Included:Complimentary coffee pods were a nice touch, adding to the convenience of the stay. -Extra blankets: my kids love throw blankets. Cons: - Missing Pool and Beach Toys: The listing mentioned that pool and beach toys would be available , but they were not available. There were 2 rusty dirty beach chairs. - There is a spigot, but no hose. We really wanted to bring our dogs to the beach to play in the , we chose not to bc access to the hose was not ideal to clean them.

Julie was a very friendly host and even allowed us to check in earlier with no fees or hassles. She is also very responsive and helpful. the place was in great condition and came very well stocked. Only minor complaint we had was that the upstairs bedrooms felt a little bit cramped. The grilling area is communal and small, so it could be difficult funding a spot to grill on a busy weekend. very close to really nice beaches.

Should be more specific with the “beach access “ we had to drive to a decent beach in the area and also there wasn’t a playground for the kids which was one of the reasons I picked this one.

The house was perfect for our family of 5. We were within driving distance to beautiful beaches. Not a ton of options for grocery stores but more than what we needed. Mike was very proactive with checking with us throughout the week. We would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and adorable cottage. Very comfortable and modern surroundings great decorating felt like at home. Love the cottage layout and so nice to have screened in porches.

Great location in PSJ. About 2 minute drive to the closest beach, 5 minutes from downtown PSJ with its shops and restaurants, and 50 feet from the community pool and hot tub. The house was exactly as described. Very clean, and Allie responded promptly to all our questions. Barefoot Cottages, the beaches, and many restaurants are all dog-friendly! We would stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay, we stayed there before, and the improvements were great. Close to the boat ramp, and short drive to the park.

Perfect little get away and we ended up adding an extra night and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Loved the place. Visit st Joe nutrition in port st Joe on Reid street and if you’re hungry grab a burger at Richeys roadhouse for the best burgers in town.

Such a cute place to stay at! Everything was so nice and clean, and furnished with what you would need for your vacation stay. Location was perfect considering we stayed here for us to go on a deep sea fishing trip. Not far from the Marina, literally right down the road. Neighborhood was quiet, as well. We would definitely recommend staying here again! 🙂

It was a beautiful place, right on the bay. We had a little snafu with the AC on the first day, but they came right out that night and took care of it for us. The cottage has great character… old Florida with modern updates. We would stay here again.

Such a nice location. Pool was great. Home was really very nice. Couch bed was less than desirable but couch beds tend to be so. Public access beaches are close. Town of Port St. Joe is filled with little shops and restaurant and there is a full sized grocery store nearby. Had a very nice weekend!

Found this location to avoid hurricane Milton, host Beth was very accommodating, understanding and helpful. Home was exactly as explained and in a great location. In this situation my family felt safe, secure and not disappointed. Would love to come back and enjoy in more favorable circumstances. Thank you Beth

I enjoyed my time at Phish Heads cottage. Having neighbors in the nearby cottages was just the right amount of social interaction; yet, the scenery and nature were the highlights. So nice to jump between bay fishing and beach fishing in a short walk. Not biting? Just walk over to the other side of the peninsula. Cottage was clean and bed comfortable. Kitchen could use some more utensils. It was nice to find a second key indoors, clearly labeled as an additional key. I think I’ll be returning to Scallop Cove Villas.

We had a great stay and loved how quiet and peaceful the community was. We enjoyed having 3 pools to choose from. The house was clean and had plenty of room to relax. We drove to mexico beach for the day and loved how close everything was to this location! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

We love staying at this place especially for the big yard so we can bring our pups along for vacation it’s always clean and easy check in and out and we love the location

Perfect peaceful private getaway. Super quaint lodging almost like a granny house. Perfect place to relax after a day of exploration. Great communication before and throughout our stay.

Susan's cottage is so cute!!! It's more spacious than the photos indicate, which was great, and the decor was so cute! The kitchen appliances are all updated and fancy, and Susan provides so many kitchen utensils and tools, which made Thanksgiving prep so easy. The cottage is secluded in clearing in the woods, and the host lives onsite right next door, but this wasn't a turn off to us at all. Super quick and easy trip to get into town and Susan was so so gracious when I accidentally booked for the wrong week and had to change my reservation. Thank you for hosting us!!!

This is our 3rd time staying at Kathy's place and it is always a great experience. The house was clean and the area is so peaceful! They have walking paths in the neighborhood, its so close to shops and restaurants! We cannot wait to come back next year!

Stacey’s house is the perfect beach getaway if traveling with dogs! Our pups loved the freedom of the fenced in backyard. Just a few blocks to the beach, and we loved exploring downtown Port St Joe and Cape San Blas. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our short visit. This is one of the loveliest vacation rentals we've stayed at over our years of traveling. With our kids grown now, taking trips - just the two of us - is going to be more common and this was perfect for my wife and I but could have easily accommodated the 4 guest limit. The home is cozy yet spacious and has everything you'd need for a trip to the area. One thing we loved particularly was how it was nestled in a quiet, small neighborhood that made it the perfect place to come after a long, busy day of activities. And it was well kept up with nice touches that made it feel like home-away-from-home. Highly recommended if you coming to the area!! Thank you Allison and Kyle for a fantastic stay and making this a trip a great memory for us.
