서울의하루는 한옥을 만드는 호스트가 직접 지은 한옥을 호스팅하는 한옥전문 스테이입니다. 우연한 계기로 북촌에 한옥을 지어서 살아보니 남들에게 알려주고 싶은 장점이 많았습니다. 저처럼 평범한 사람들이 가진 한옥살이에 대한 막연한 꿈을 가까운 현실로 느끼길 바라는 마음으로 게스트들을 맞이하고자 합니다. 서울의하루 삼청동 집은 경복궁 청와대와 매우 가까운 서울의 중심부에 위치해있으며 15평의 아담한 크기입니다. 거실 하나 방 하나 아담한 주택으로 1-2인이 머무르기 적합합니다. 1936년에 지어진 집을 2019년에 제가 직접 고쳤습니다. 한국 전통 건축양식을 지킨 한옥이나 내부 공간은 입식생활이 가능하도록 현대적인 가구들을 배치하였습니다. 장기 투숙자를 위한 세탁기와 건조기 등 생활가전도 준비되어 있습니다. 여행자들에게 가장 중요한 것은 휴식이라 생각하고 침구류를 가장 신경쓰고 있습니다. 서울에 이런 곳도 있구나 나도 한옥 한번 살아볼까 하는 꿈을 이 곳에서 꾸길 바랍니다.

Origin is a traditional hanok house located on the stone wall of Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO cultural heritage. Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.

저는 호주, 브리즈번에서 유학을 했었습니다. 버스를 타고 시티를 다녀야 하는 지역에서 스테이를 했었습니다. 아침마다 버스를 타고 시티를 갈때면 호주를 여행하는 기분이 들어 참 좋았어요. 바깥 풍경과 가게, 공원들을 보며 이색적인 환경에 늘 즐거웠습니다. 그 추억이 너무나 그리워 10년이 지나 제 아이들을 데리고 다시 호주, 브리즈번을 찾았습니다. 이때도 물론 버스를 타고 시티를 다녀야 하는 숙소에 머물렀어요. 아이들에게도 제가 본 것을 보여주고 싶었어요. 아이들도 지금 그때의 추억을 떠올리면 행복해 합니다. "쉼 스테이" 를 준비하면서 제 경험을 떠올려 보았어요. 서울에 머무는 동안 대중교통을 이용하며 한국 문화를 직접 체험하며 여행할 수 있는 곳. 숙소에 돌아왔을 때 편안하게 쉴 수 있는 넓고 탁트인 공간. 푹 잘 수 있는 침구와 퀄리티 높은 침대. 제가 장박을 했었던 기억을 떠올리며 준비하고 직접 관리하는 숙소 입니다.
