Hakutsubaki, a pure Japanese-style mansion with an authentic tea room built 43 years ago. This house, which was also used as a tea ceremony studio, still has a charming design in which the tea ceremony master brought in craftsmen from Kyoto to create a design that is meticulous in its materials and workmanship down to the smallest detail. In particular, the "tea room" at the back of the building is made of natural materials, including the earthen walls, pillars, ceilings, and lighting. You can see stains on the mud walls, but in a traditional tea room, the stains on the walls are also something to be enjoyed as "wabi-sabi", so we leave them as they are. We also have antique kimonos and props from nearly 100 years ago on display. We'd love to have people who are interested in Japanese culture, such as tea ceremonies, Japanese architecture, and kimonos, stay in the tea room. We also have a large number of authentic tea bowls for tea ceremonies. We recommend that you try making tea in the teabowl at least once during your stay. At night, lay out the futons yourself in the tatami mat room. Small children who do not need a futon (and can sleep with their parents) can stay for free. You can also relax on the garden terrace. Many of the trees and flowers in the garden were planted with the intention of decorating the tea room, and there are more than 80 types of plants.

We have a free large parking lot with a depth of 12 m and a width of 10 m or more, so you can park smoothly even if you come with a large camping car, etc. With a spacious 39㎡ space and a comfortable hotel-style double bed, you can slowly heal your fatigue after enjoying your trip. You can also take a day trip to Lake Towada, which has breathtaking views, and Oirase Gorge, which has beautiful new green leaves and autumn leaves. In winter, we can also introduce you to the Hakkoda Mountain Backcountry Ski Tour at our private lodging. You can enjoy Aomori's charms all year round, with the Aomori Nebuta Festival in summer and beautiful autumn leaves in the nearby mountains in autumn. Trains are more convenient than buses.
