I had a fantastic experience staying at Nazir Ahmad's Airbnb property in Pahalgam. The mountain view from the place was breathtaking, and it added to the overall charm of the stay. The food provided was not only delicious but also a delightful local cuisine experience. Nazir Ahmad was an excellent host, always responsive and ready to assist with any questions or requests. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb if you're looking for a picturesque mountain retreat with great food and a responsive host.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt well looked after and cared for. The house is beautiful with lovely spring flowers scattered everywhere. Bonfire and BBQ facilities were available to us and that felt like such a nice touch. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay especially since we were primarily all women this was important to us. The place felt secluded withing being too far away from a city. The road up is a little steep so would recommend a good car. The only complaint we had, if any, was that one of the showers out of the two did not work, however this was not too big a problem for us as we all then just ended up using one shower. Would 100% come stay here again.

This is my second visit in a year. Remarkable place Its just like your second home. So neat & Tidy. Attendant was very active & Vigilant. He was always a minute away. The Host Sher Afghan Khan is very friendly & Very responsive & above all very cooperative. He has really maintained the place in an excellent condition. Thanks

If you're looking for a serene escape in Pahalgam, this riverside gem along the Lidder River is truly a superb choice. The property was clean and exceptionally well-maintained. Surrounded by lush greenery and set against a backdrop of pine-covered hills, it offers a peaceful and private retreat for nature lovers.

We went there for a family trip. The place was in a serene and secluded location with no noise or light pollution. The attendant was nice and non-intrusive. It felt like home. I feel that the price could be a few thousands less but thats just my opinion.

The second visit to this place was also fantastic. It continues to be a peaceful and warm environment, making it the perfect destination for families. This time Shabbir, the caretaker, played a crucial role in ensuring that our journey was wonderful. He takes excellent care of both the property and the guests.

To anyone who is looking to spend some quite nights, this is the place. We were a group of friends gathered after years to spend some quality time. We were all able to play loud music without any interference. Mr Shoaib assured us of having no issues with loud music beforehand. A caretaker was readily available at the property and he was more than accomodating with everything related to cooking food, tea, breakfast. Be sure to bring your own supplies. He also cleaned the entire place for us the next day. Place has amazing views. Big sized rooms, common areas. Just one small issue pertained related to water as we were constantly running out of it. The host explained that the area hasn't seen rainfall and going through a drought. Water tankers were arranged within a few hours of informing the caretaker or the host. Overall our experience was nothing less than amazing and that is coming from all 7 friends who stayed.

An oasis of tranquillity....!!! This was one of the best Airbnb’s I have been to so far. A beautiful, scenic and peaceful place to relax yourself from the busy life, hospitality offered was at peak. The caretaker and the Host was polite at all times. The room was spacious and nicely maintained. One cannot forget the beautiful view of the Lidder river alongside of this beautiful home. Spectacular green forests and meadows make up the landscapes of this location.

The hut is located in a gated community which gives a sense of security. Hut is beautiful and esthetically decorated. All necessary amenities were provided. On the overall it was a comfortable stay.

Faisal's place was perfect for us. It was away from the highly crowded centre of town (15 minutes by cab), next to the Lidder River, in a quaint village lane that gave a spectacular view of the majestic mountain range, the river flowing down in all its fury and the breathtaking scenery around. The housekeeper Showkat made delicious food and kept the place neat and tidy. His cheerful presence made us feel very welcome. If you are looking for a comfortable place, some 'me time' in tranquil surroundings, this is the place.

The White Cottage is a beautiful house with all basic amenities. It is very well maintained and has a very cosy common area to sit together with your group. Coming to Mr. Shoaib, the host of the property, he is a very kind and generous man, was always available on call and made sure we felt comfortable. He actually made us feel at home, away from home. The cook makes delicious food. Do try kashmiri dum aloo and mix veg. The caretaker was also very nice, he took good care of us. Overall, it is a lovely property to stay in Srinagar.

The place was as good as it looks in the photos, maybe even better as far as day views are concerned. It was nice and clean, rooms, living area as well as bathrooms. The host was cooperative just as well. The approach is from main road so it was very easy but only the last 100 meters to get to the house are little difficult for someone not used to driving in hilly areas, but it was manageable nonetheless The only critique would be the house help, which was not that bad either, but I’d just like to add some points for improvement. We needed soaps, but he only arranged one and said “we don’t give soaps”. I’d not welcome this comment because it’s not something that big a request, as I prefer to wash hands with soap in bathroom and kitchen, despite hand washes already present. Secondly, the house help was very keen to make breakfast inside the main kitchen which is attached to the living room, so that kinda took some of our valuable family time. Otherwise, everything was awesome. 4.5 star

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly wonderful. The caretaker, Tek Raj, was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive—he made us feel right at home. The property was exactly as described, if not better. Tek Raj even arranged a serene shikara ride for us across Nigeen and Dal Lake, and the boatman he recommended offered a very fair price. What really touched us was how warmly Tek Raj looked after us—as if we were part of his own family. Each evening, after returning from our day’s excursions, we’d find the room heating already turned on, making the space feel extra cosy and welcoming. We’re a family of four, and the two-bedroom setup was more than comfortable. A special mention also goes to the friendly dogs on the property and Tek Raj’s adorable little child, who added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. All in all, it was a memorable and heartwarming stay—we’d love to return someday.
