Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home in Västerkälen outside Krokom. The house is out in the countryside with no neighbors, except the dwelling house. Close to the mountain world, fishing and berry picking. About 1 hour by car to magical mountain world summer and winter, about 25 minutes by car to central Östersund with a large selection of restaurants and other pleasures. There is a large sauna in the yard in a separate building, which can be used for a fee. Animals are allowed, but not cats due to allergies.

The house is located in the suburbs of Strömsund and in about 5 minutes walking distance you will find a grocery store. The city center with larger stores and various services is 1.5-2 km away. The surroundings are perfect for different types of leisure activities. The neighborhood has a great view of the reservoir, surrounded by very beautiful nature and rich fishing. Proximity to the lake and Hårkan, a river, known as one of the best fishing rivers in Sweden. Seven minutes to Ica shop that is open 24/7, charging posts. Lits camping is 14 minutes away. There is a beach, playground and canoe rental. The accommodation has a double bed, a sofa bed, and a bunk bed. A total of 6 sleeping places. If you need bed linens, please let the host know.

There is a double bed on the ground floor and up to 4 people can sleep comfortably under the sloping roof on the upper floor. The flair of the old beams, the view from the window of the lake, canoe and our new BARREL SAUNA (included) make your stay perfect! Kitchen, shower and toilet are 20 meters away in the "grannys house", which all guests share!

Extensive hikes or bike tours are also possible here. There are many great things to discover in the surrounding nature. We have a boat, SUP Boards and a fishing set to rent.
