Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hampshire County

I could not recommend this enough. The right mix of updated and original. Kitchen was fully redone and lots of space. The back gardens were great and we would walk into town daily. Very close to Smith College. 4 out of 4 stars!

Had a wonderful stay at Mighty’s house on the lake. It was such a peaceful and beautiful area. The house was clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. It was reassuring to have our hosts right next door but there was a good amount of privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, taking the canoe out on the beautiful lake and having some space and time to wind down. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to step away from life for a little while.

Allison's place was lovely for our family, 2 adults and a 4 and 7 year old. We loved the charming, walkable neighborhood and the creek in the backyard. We had lots of great meals on the back deck and really appreciated the little touches - like snacks and toys. Would definitely stay again!

Very cute apartment and more than what we needed for a one night stay on a wedding weekend! The downstairs has a charming sitting room and spacious kitchen with fridge, stove, and laundry. The stairs were a bit steep so be cautious! Upstairs a comfy soft bed with window AC and a large bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower. Jennifer was very nice about our last minute request to check in early to change for a 4 PM wedding. We would stay here again if we come back to the area! Thanks so much!

We rented Mina’s place while attending a wedding in the Northampton area. Her place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we loved being so close to town. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay. The hosts were maybe the most helpful we've had in our travels. We had a late night arrival and the hosts left on extra outside lights at our request and even ran over some of their own milk so that we could have (much needed) coffee first thing in the morning. The house is on a quiet street and looks into the shared wooded back yard. Despite having the hosts next door we felt very private. The house has 2 bedrooms (a queen and a room with 2 twins) upstairs with a bathroom with a very small shower. The stairs are fairly steep (normal in an old house). The first floor is a studio setup with a queen bed in an alcove off the open-plan living room/kitchen/dining area. There's another bathroom with shower downstairs. (The first floor can be curtained off from the stairs the the second floor.) This wasn't an issue for us but wouldn't be great if you wanted a lot of privacy for the second queen bed or have both night owls and early birds in your group.

We were very comfortable and felt very home like at Brodys place. The muffins were delicious and the house was clean and comfortable. Would be best suited for a family with younger children. Two bedrooms with one bedroom has a queen bed and one bedroom has bunk beds. The yard was manicured very nicely and we felt welcome. Wish we could have spent a little more time and enjoyed the outdoor space more. Bedrooms are on the second story. Recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in this neck of the woods. There was a bit of a plumbing problem which wasn't the owners fault at all. We hope it all worked out.

Everything was as described, there were no surprises! The place was just what my family needed. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament at UMASS which was only 15 minutes away. Beautiful area and a beautiful home! Micheal was a great host. Would definitely stay again!

This was my second stay here, and I really enjoyed it both times. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet still very close to town, which makes it super convenient. One of my favorite spots is the second-floor porch—it's perfect for reading or just relaxing. Looking forward to coming back again!

This first floor apartment is wonderful- homey, well equipped, on a quiet friendly street with lots of greenery, peaceful and easy. Parking was a breeze in a well marked space and the location is convenient to all things in and around Easthampton and Northampton, with good walking destinations, restaurants, and more. Rocky has many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was so well outfitted, I was sorry I didn't stay longer to do some cooking there!

Peter and the apartment were great! Peter was super responsive, friendly, and had nice touches like homemade granola with milk and coffee provided. After my original AirBNB fell through at check-in at 6pm, I was relieved (and saved) by Peter’s responsiveness.

I loved Gretchen's place so much. It was such a calm little oasis, and I was so comfortable and happy! I will definitely try to book with Gretchen again on future trips.

We will never stay at a hotel again. For the price of a hotel we stayed in a cozy one bedroom apartment that was perfect for two. Bed was comfortable. We watched Netflix after seeing a show to wind down, and with one of us being a night owl and one being an early bird it gave us the space to relax without disturbing the other. We asked for a fan when we arrived as my husband liked a breeze and the owner delivered one very quickly. Highly recommend.

Eric is a great host and I look forward to having a reason to return. Location is excellent as well for walking around town.

I rented the Basement Oasis for my sons Graduation from UMASS Amherst. It was MUCH closer than I thought it would be. The drive is super simple and local and along the way there is every kind of retail store you can think of. Marshaalls, TJs, LL Bean, food chains, local eateris, major Food markets. The location is perfect. It was super clean, spacious, and everything you need!!! Beautiful residential neighborhood

I had the pleasure of staying at the place owned by Gladys, and it was an unforgettable experience. When I arrived late at night, Gladys came to ensure my comfort and make me feel welcome. She greeted me warmly and even provided a snack, which was a thoughtful touch after a long journey. I was staying at Gladys's place because of my research internship at UMass, and her hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable. She genuinely cared about my comfort and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. One of the most memorable gestures was when she brought a Christmas tree to the apartment, adding a festive and cozy touch to the space. The apartment itself was exactly as described. Everything including the kitchen was clean, cozy, well-equipped, and well-maintained. What truly set this accommodation apart was the personal touch that Gladys brought to the experience. Her warmth and hospitality made me feel like more than just a guest; I felt like a valued friend.

Beautiful and very clean space! We had the most wonderful long weekend at Goran's apartment. He was so responsive and super friendly... cannot recommend enough. We will be back!
