Amanda and Chris were absolutely amazing hosts! Honestly, this was the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at—it truly felt like a home away from home. The setting was incredibly peaceful, with stunning views of the Louisiana swamplands that made it all the more special. The place was so comfortable that even though we only stayed for one night, we easily could've settled in for a week. I didn't get a chance to go fishing, but they had everything you could possibly need for it—tons of gear, a fish cleaning station, and all the cooking essentials. This place is a real gem!

Our stay at Jamie’s was so memorable — not only was she the most amazing host, but a wonderful cook and story teller as well! We could very easily reach the city in a quick Uber to Algier’s Point ferry or directly into the city, but we enjoyed slow mornings with Jamie making the most beautiful breakfast for us (you need to ask her about her cinnamon rolls recipe!). All in all her hospitality has redefined our standards, and it was a great trip for our first time in New Orleans.
