Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hardenburgh

Everything was great and as expected. I found the description of this Airbnb to be spot on. No surprises. Great stay.

Nora’s house stands out as one of the best that I have stayed in. It feels like visiting the home of a relative who has taken care to ensure modern comforts while preserving the character and history of the home. It’s full of antique furniture and special treasures from china plates to vintage games. The views are breathtaking from indoors or out, and the covered deck allows for grilling or lounging even in the rain. One note: the pull-down stairs to the loft are quite steep. We used it as a daytime clubhouse until our kids, ages 9 and 10, got the courage to sleep up there on our last night. We loved hiking along the creek and visiting the farm animals. Bring tall wading boots if you are visiting in cool weather! Although we could see the adorable pigs and goats from the living room, we thankfully couldn’t smell or hear them unless we went down the hill to say hello. Nora was helpful, responsive, and friendly. I am grateful to her for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!

The Airbnb rental was just as described convenient and easy to access. Beth and Tom were proactive and kept me a prize of local events happening.

Another review said it was more beautiful than the pictures and I agree! The home and space was so serene even though it was a bit rainy. My partner and I felt safe and visited some food recommendations. We highly recommend mornings! And We hope to go back! Paul was truly an amazing and responsive host

We had a great stay at Katie’s cozy mountain house. From the patio, we were able to watch the birds and the deer pass by, and the house gave us easy access to some awesome hikes and cute villages. It was super relaxing and a wonderful time in the beautiful Catskills! Thank you, Katie!

Phenomenal stay. Plenty of taste and character. ACTUAL personality and care built into it. Clean and charming everywhere. Hot tub was lovely. The piano and record player were great touches. Some yard for games.. the downstairs with TV is a nice touch. Grill worked perfectly. Small pleasures like heated floor really made it a luxurious experience. Would absolutely stay again.

The house is spacious and elegant. The wooded lot has a pretty creek a little way from the house. We took some walks through the snowy woods and roads beyond the house and could have kept going for a long time - the mountain is peaceful and beautiful. The owners live a few doors down and came by to help set us up before a major snow storm. We had a really nice time.

We stayed 2 nights at Bob and Jackie's place with our 2 kids. The apartment was clean and prepared for our arrival which we really appreciate (an extra bed was already made for our kids to sleep). There was enough space for the 4 of us, the kitchen is fully equipped too. Although it was raining heavily during our stay, we could enjoy our time outside because of a little covered area on the back of the building with a view to the woods and a grill that we enjoyed using as well. Thanks Bob and Jackie for a nice and peaceful stay!

Ami’s place was great! Stayed for my birthday and was surprised with a delicious tres leche cake upon my arrival! The view was incredible, amenities were amazing, overall it was everything I hoped for and more. Thanks Ami!

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Definitely a space with great level of thoughts and details makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Surrounded by the nature, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful mountain view and bird chirps, very peaceful and tranquil. We saw deers walking by, rabbit hiding in bush from raining, and a little chipmunk busy around the house all the time. Thanks Katey for sharing her beautiful home and being a great host, super responsive and provides lots of useful information. We had an amazing time!

Very convenient location close by to everything we needed! We did have an issue with something in our unit, but Aaron communicated very quickly and was able to let us use the other available unit for the night. Both Air bnbs at the property were very well stocked and spotless. Felt very much at home here!

What a great little studio for a Birthday get away trip to Bethel Woods concerts, etc. Relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake for coffee in the morning or a nightcap after your days activities. 2 restaurants within a 100 yards, the Tap n Table was excellent with really Friendly staff. Must have breakfast at least once at Bethel Market Cafe, the Best! All this less than 15 minutes in any direction. I would like to come back in the Summer to take advantage of the Lake activities. Wonderful stay!

The Modena House was perfect for our trip. We wished we had the chance to enjoy the outdoor aspect a little more, however time and weather didn’t cooperate with us. The place is adorable, a great kitchen, nicely decorated sitting room, bathroom and bedroom made for a lovely stay. The hosts are top notch! We hope to stay again in the future if we are in the area. Amazing plaice. If you are looking for a place fulfilled with serenity, joy and nature, this is a place to go. The house made with love, clean and big. The creek and sounds of water with the fire pit meditative. The hot jacuzzi on the creek is relaxing and fun. The owners are nice people, very orginized and quickly responding to any conserns you migjt have. Walks on the nature is available. We will be back!!! Thank you James and Erene!!

Such a peaceful, rustic cabin—just what we needed to unplug and relax. It was clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature, yet close to plenty of fun things to do in the area. We’d definitely stay again!

We love staying at this peaceful and idyllic cabin. The property is very well maintained and true in character to its beautiful surroundings. We love the log fire, the hot tub and the beautiful garden full of wildlife. The area has plenty to do including great farmers markets, distillery with pizza truck and lots of walking and much more.

The cabin was great! Just what our group needed. Very clean and in a nice private location.

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

I really loved the place, the whole place was mint clean, the host was really friendly and responsive to all of my questions, the atmosphere was really peaceful and perfect if you want to escape from the city for a few days!✨✨

We stayed for a weekend, loved the fireplace and the porch swing.
