Very nice lakefront home. Very clean and had all kitchen utensils needed. Spacious, great view, peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved it! The house was a cozy lakeside retreat—perfect for a relaxing mini getaway. The decor was adorable, especially the wallpaper, which added a charming touch to the space. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making our stay super comfortable. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend escape!

Such a sweet spot! Quiet neighborhood. Quiet inlet of Lake Hartwell. A perfect place for our 3-family reunion with kiddos. We spent most of the daytime on the water (rented a boat one day, hung out and swam off the dock the next day). Evenings were savored on the porch. Well-stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the multiple living room spaces to hang, especially the beautiful sun room. Loved the SUP and kayaks for the lake. Erin was so responsive and helpful. Thank you for sharing your lovely space!

Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

Gary’s place was wonderful! It was exactly like the pictures and more. The lake was nice and not super busy even though it was June. The place is secluded, but still close to everything. The guys enjoyed golfing, while the girls loved the Animal Safari place and all of the local boutiques and shopping. The Goodwill is awesome in town. We had a storm while in town and the internet went out, but Gary was quick to respond and call the internet company. It was also nice that we had 3 couples and we all had our own floor (bc we didn’t use the 4th bedroom). There are also 2 living rooms and plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen was also well stocked and had everything you needed, if you did decide to do some cooking. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We would definitely go back and stay again!

Tammy and her house were absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for anything we needed. The home was fully stocked and had tons of extras. This place inside and out is gorgeous and the pictures just don’t do it justice. The pool and spa were both very relaxing and very well maintained. We definitely plan on coming back whenever we are in the area again. Paddling and kayaking the lake right from the dock was a huge plus. If you ever visit Lake Hartwell - I 100/10 recommend this place!

This house was Perfect! From the moment you arrive it's so peaceful! The view of the lake is second to none. The yard, dock and deck were our favorite places! (bring bug spray). The breeze and tree shade were perfect so it wasn't every crazy hot and the AC inside was AMAZING. The kids LOVED the zip line, going out in the kayaks with Dad, and fishing off the doc for HOURS. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again!

I’m late leaving this review but we had a wonderful stay. The place looks brand new, sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Craig and Janet couldn’t have been more friendly. We ran into Craig a few times around the property and had a really great time talking to him. We brought the boat and spent most of our days on the water. From a boating perspective, the dock is at the back of a quiet deep water cove. No worries whatsoever about water level or any kind of wake roughness, and it’s right around the corner from 18 mile creek access so drop in and take out is a breeze. It was a perfect place to retreat back to after a long day on the water. We can’t wait to come back and stay with Janet and Craig again!

Our 2 night stay was delightful in every way! It’s a beautiful apartment, loved the tall ceilings and gorgeous tall windows that allowed for a beautiful view and glorious light! Trent and his wife were exemplary of Southern Hospitality. No complaints or recommendations of how to make it better. It’s perfect! Highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect! My husband and I decided to get an Airbnb with a pool for the weekend. Within moments of booking, Mark responded with a friendly hello. Upon arrival, everything was exactly as described and he had a very nice welcome basket with snacks and even drinks in the fridge for us to enjoy! The game room was awesome and full of games. We played with an 80’s arcade game machine, shot pool, shuffle board, ping pong and darts. There were board games too and the porch was absolutely beautiful, especially at night!!! We’ve decided to visit again in June and can’t wait! Thank you Mark and Candy for a very fun and relaxing weekend away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

This is the second time we have stayed with this host and plan on making it our yearly spot. Clean, well kept, easy to get in and out, and a great location that is far enough to be calm but close enough to all the major areas. Definitely recommend this host and location for your stay.

We had a very nice couple of days at William and Lori's place in Seneca. It was cozy and nice to have a place to come home to each day after our outings of touring waterfalls in the NW part of SC. Conveniently located to everything we needed including restaurants, the parks that we visited and grocery stores, etc.

Shelly’s places was very peaceful and just a great place to getaway but also close enough to other places to do shopping and venture around.

Karl’s place was outstanding. Super clean, cozy and relaxing, the location was amazing less than 5 minutes away from Target/Walmart and tons of others shopping centers, Karl his self was amazing , super nice and respectful. I would highly recommend this to everyone

Emeline and Ryan’s place was exactly as described. Great location for us to walk to the sports venues near other amenities we needed during our stay. They were easy to contact and quick to respond. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect place to stay for my nephew’s graduation from Clemson. The place was nice, clean and was a perfect distance to school. It was also walkable to the all the shops and restaurants around Clemson. Thank you for a great stay!!

We booked Benjamin’s place for my son’s graduation from Clemson. The four beds and two baths worked well for our group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was clean and stocked with kcup coffee. Note: there are 44 steps up to the apartment and we picked up air fresheners because the place had an odd smell. If you’re taking an Uber, you have to walk out to the apartment complex next door for pickups.

Comfortable stay, great location for sports event at Clemson. Jessica is a responsive, accommodating host.

Fran’s place was the perfect place for the family to stay for my son’s graduation. Very close to campus but away from the crowds. Fran’s place was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels felt high end. I would recommend this place 100% and hope to be back! Fran was very proactive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth check in and check out.

I’ve stayed at Nicole’s condo/apartment previously, and I was happy it was available! Excellent location, plenty of room, and quiet complex. The complex and units are older, but they are well maintained. Perfect location for all things Clemson! Looking forward to staying again!
