We got a last family get away before our girls go off to college. It was a beautiful spot to play games, enjoy a slower pace and get some quality family time together. We fished, read, played games and just enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area. Alex and Violetta were super responsive to the questions that I had. Beautiful home and lots of thoughtful amenities.

Great place to stay! Very peaceful, felt very remote and isolated but was only 10 mins from town.

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

Absolutely beautiful cabin! We had such wonderful stay. You thought of everything. Kitchen was very well stocked. The hot tub was amazing. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. Kyle and his wife have thought of everything….from the record player to playing some cards by the fire! Thank you for hosting us. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved being steps away from the lake, hot tub, and sauna. Only an 8 minute drive to Lakefield, and about 20 minutes to the Curve Lake First Nations reserve. Hosts recommended a nice farm-to-table spot that we really enjoyed (The Cheeky Duck). The Nook was just what we needed and I happily recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and kick back for a little while!

Stunning area, amazing location, and fantastic amenities. Very well thought out layout. Going from the hot tub to the sauna was so good after a long day of 4wheeling. Every question is answered in the guest book. When we didnhave a question Meghan took care of if asap. Thankyou Meghan and the owners for such a beautiful spot. Ben and the 4 wheeling gang.

What a special location to get away from the noise of the city without being too far away. Charming set up, and had everything you need.

Great place for a quite peaceful getaway. The hosts took great care of us. The cabin had everything we needed for our duration of the stay. Ansolutely loved our stay. Points for bbq facilities prividing us as much firewood as we wanted keeping us warm and cozy the host’s attention to detail with regards to meeting customer’s needs. spotless, clean showerroom

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

This was my second time visiting Andrew’s place in the fall. It is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. The cottage itself is clean & cozy. All necessary amenities are included. Will be back again!

Wonderful cabin with great amenities. It was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy all the trails, but did walk some and they were calm and serene. And of course, the goats, alpacas and horses were an added bonus. Only wish we had stayed longer :)

My family and I stayed at Christie’s cottage for Victoria Day long weekend. The first thing I noticed was that the pictures on the listing really didn’t do the place justice!! It was just what I wanted, the cottage feel but still comfortable like my own home. Christie had the place in pristine condition and there was more than enough sleeping, lounging and relaxing areas for everyone who joined us. This cottage is beautiful, it overlooks the lake & had everything we needed to start our family fun! The cottage itself, beautiful overall but Christie is really was the cherry on top. She was so accommodating & helpful (even stopped by to help us get the leafs game up and running). Thank you for sharing your property with us & just know you haven’t seen the last of us 😊 we’ll probably take at least two or three more trips here before the summers through!!! Don’t look any further this is the spot you should go to!!!

Ali's place was a great get away for couples! Very peaceful location, plenty to do at the cottage and nearby locations. Do keep in mind though there is no wifi and cell reception is weak, though they do provide a signal booster when needed. Highly recommended!

My partner and our dog spent a long weekend at Peter's cabin in the woods in mid-June, and it was perfect! Very private but only a 10 minute drive into Bancroft which had everything we could possibly have needed. Beautiful space (indoor and out) with everything we could have possibly needed. It's a perfect location for a weekend getaway! There was a booklet with clear instruction on the wood-burning fire, generator and battery, and the water situation, as well as a map of the property. We tried getting to 'beach 2' but there wasn't a clear path and couldn't find it, but the main beach was a 5 minute walk away and was beautiful, Completely private, sandy, and with clear water that was great to swim/float around in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway, and will almost definitely come back. Just make sure you keep the bug spray nearby!

This was my second time after visiting a year prior with my son. We both liked the cabin so much when we visited the first time that we were happy that it was available when we returned to Haliburton again. Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations at a great location.

This is such a charming little place! the home is cozy and comfortable and the sauna is a nice touch for a relaxing getaway!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

The cottage was peaceful, private, and fully stocked with all the daily use stuff we forgot to pack (a lifesaver, honestly). Only letdown? The weather. Still, the vibes were right, and we made the most of it. Definitely would book again.

Planned a 10-day solo writing retreat (with a trusty dog companion!) and it was everything I hoped for - both productive and relaxing! The Nest is exactly as described. Super cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature! The bookshelves are stocked with some absolute must-reads. On our walks, we spotted a heron, hawks, a turtle, wild turkeys, a porcupine, and we even made friends with some chipmunks! But I most miss the constant song of the river. My only complaint? I’m not still there!! So long as you don't forget your bug spray, you'll have a phenomenal visit!!

We booked Yogi’s Cabin last minute and couldn’t be happier we did! Perfect spot for our family of four (plus our pup!). The view is stunning, the lake is quiet and peaceful, and the cabin had everything we needed for an stress-free stay. Clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches, including a lovely welcome gift! We’d highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
