We had a great stay at Debbie’s! The accommodation was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Kate was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful location but very isolated from any shops and towns to visit, definitely more of a cabin to relax at than to explore the local areas.

Caron’s cabin was rustic and as described. Facilities were good for one night, Caron left us some eggs and fruit from the land. Caron greeted us on arrival and added some history to the cabin which was great. It was a great place for us to stay on our long drive down south. Be warned, creepy crawlies love the cabin also!!

We enjoyed our stay at Rose and Steve’s studio. The place was very comfortable and well set up for the two of us. There is an extra bedroom with two single bunks in it, service Studio could accommodate a group up to 4 people but that might be a little crowded. It had everything we needed. With TV, Wi-Fi, dining table, lounge chairs, kitchenette, and bathroom. Rose and Steve were very helpful with recommendations on local restaurants, dining and places to visit. Rose even went to the trouble of baking some chocolate brownies which my partner enjoyed. We would like to come back to Whangamata again and would have no hesitation staying at Studio 220.

Friendly and proactive hosts 😊 Great location, plenty of space inside and games even if the weather takes a turn! Unexpected surprise of fresh farm milk awaiting us in the fridge. What more could you ask for?

It was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. It was close to the Windows walk and the tunnel, enabling us to ride our bikes to Waihi.

This was a lovely, peaceful farm stay. The converted shipping containers make an excellent set up for singles or couples. It's quick to get into Te Aroha for cafes, hiking and the hot springs.

We had such a comfortable and relaxed stay at Robyn’s place. We had everything we needed - the reclining couch was a sure bonus! The neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet. So close to the beach, shops, and restaurants as well. We’ll definitely book her place again if we go back to Whangamatā. 🙂

Loved Gordons place in Wentworth Valley. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and a great location to get to Whangamata. Gordon was a great host too, we'll hopefully be back again!

Was just lovely - warm, super clean, comfortable, small touches like home baking (yum!), muesli, eggs, real milk (fresh, creamy, soooo good!), amazing shower. Friendly hosts who greeted us and then left us to it to enjoy the beautiful space. So quiet & peaceful. Stunning farmland views.

Such lovely cottage to stay in, the hosts are very lovely and accommodating. Was awesome to have a pool to use as well.

Our stay at the cabin with our Labrador was absolutely perfect. The cabin itself was so comfortable with everything you need including a great shower and very comfy bed, set in the most gorgeous valley with views of the hills and forest. The outside deck space was fantastic, and use of the BBQ to cook while the sun sets was great. The river is absolutely stunning and our dog loved having a paddle. It’s the perfect spot to explore walks in the park and the cute town of Thames. I would thoroughly recommend. Katrina and her family were so friendly and helpful as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Bruce was great and so welcoming to me and my dog. The place had everything we needed and only a few minutes drive from the beach.

If you are lucky enough to get a booking at Chartre Cottage we believe you will be very happy! Anna-Marie is a lovely generous host, who goes out of her way to provide a wonderful holiday experience! The cottage is also a bed and breakfast and Anna-Marie provides delicious foods for you to prepare yourself when you desire. The kitchenette is well stocked and easy to make simple meals in. The decor is lovely and includes a very comfortable bed, large bathroom, beautiful sitting area with views from the hill overlooking Thames and stunning sunsets. They have two adorable sheep and chickens to add to the fun. She does one of my favorite things hosts do is label the light switches so you don’t have to guess and she has excellent instructions for you to follow as well as good suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. You park right outside your door for easy access. We highly recommend Chartre Cottage for couples who desire to have a peaceful and lovely place to stay for holiday!

Dave & Fiona’s cottage is a great place to stay while exploring the Coromandel area. It is warm and comfortable with good breakfast supplies and fruit provided. The kitchen is well set up with everything needed to cook a meal but it is also conveniently located only 15 minutes drive into town should you want to go out to restaurants and cafes. Dave & Fiona met us on arrival and were friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location. Lots of extras, that made our stay great in such wild weather. Anita and hubby are super friendly and welcoming. Easy going hosts with awesome local knowledge. An ideal family stay, even with a family dog! thank you for a wonderful experience 😊

We found this place ideal for a quiet restful break. It is private and quiet with a rural outlook. It has good quality furnishings and chattels and the place itself is fairly new. John and Shirlee communicated clearly and we will definitely return.
