Beautiful 18th C Chalet in Chamonix

Chalet le Suay is a beautiful, well equipped 18th century Savoyard farmhouse which has been renovated in a contemporary style and is perfect for families or couples, comfortably sleeping 8 (potentially up to 10). It is in a quiet location with stunning mountain views, a short walk from the pretty village of Servoz (15 minutes from Chamonix), with its own local store and restaurants. The chalet has good access to the skiing areas of Chamonix, along with beautiful mountain walks on the doorstep.

We rent an appartement with one bedroom, a living room with kitchen and bathroom, in an old renovated farm in a charming small village overlooking the Lac de Bourget. It's very quiet here, the house is on a dead end street, yet you are close to major cities (Geneva, Lyon, Annecy, Chambery, Aix-les-Bains) and have plenty of outdoor sports opportunities : hiking, swimming, mountain-climbing , motorboat rental, canoeing, cycling. The next ski resorts are about one hour drive. We speak English

It has been converted to a beautiful and modern open space family chalet with all the warm and cosy touches you expect for your holidays. Leading on from the large living room, are 4 bedrooms that sleep 10 people, and three bathrooms. Features include a glass fronted fireplace, underfloor heating, a boot room and a high spec kitchen. Near the beginner slopes and ski bus!

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, hiking, cycling or mountain biking, climbing sites, skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Everyone can also enjoy the many festivals and entertainment around Annecy and the crafts of the Bauges mountain range.

Isolated, but close to amenities, a stay in the Chamois cottage will allow you to enjoy a unique and ecological experience, surrounded by nature, in the heart of the two Savoies. Old waterfront sheepfold, old village.

Old sheepfold transformed into a family chalet, for 4 to 6 people. Space and nature around for children. Direct proximity to the mountain for walks. Slopes, shops 1 km away, free shuttle. Linens provided. Absolute calm. Be careful when accessing one of the bedrooms on the top floor, you have to pass under a beam of about 1.60, but the children love it. 90 m2 spread over 4 floors with very passable stairs-ladders or miller's ladders.
