Holiday rentals in Hay South

This was our second stay here and Paul didn't disappoint. Paul welcomed us on arrival and made sure we had everything. The heating was already on and the place was nice and cosy. We had a lovely, quiet evening and our dogs enjoyed the large backyard. We'll stay again.

Leonnie is a great communicator and very responsive. It is a fantastic place to stay and is very conveniently located. Near the river, parks and the shops.

Kerri’s place is superbly furnished and decorated, with luxurious styling and bespoke, high quality finishes throughout. Although located at the back of the host’s property, the accommodation is very private, with its own entrance and a secluded outdoor entertainment area.

A beautiful, tranquil and completely rural location - this place is so serene and peaceful. It’s right on the banks of the Murrumbidgee with abundant birdlife and beautiful sunsets. There’s plenty of amenities to enjoy the views inside and out.

Lovely comfortable home for overnight stay, friendly informative host. Quality linen and air conditioning throughout house. Good off street parking. Quiet area. Would stay again and definitely recommend to other travellers.

Cute, warm, and cosy place to stay for the night. The joined secure car park and fenced courtyard was great for unloading the car. My anxious dog was able to stick by me and was safely contained by the fencing, which made it easier to carry things.

We had a lovely stay at Julia’s cottage! Julia is a super friendly host who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage may be small, but it’s cozy and charming—just what you’d hope for when staying in the far outback. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the beautiful, well-maintained garden added to the peaceful atmosphere. A special highlight was the cotton harvest happening nearby—it was such a unique experience that we really enjoyed. We stayed here as a stopover on our road trip from Sydney to Adelaide and back, and it turned out to be a perfect break in the journey. One unforgettable moment was stepping outside at night and seeing the stunning, star-filled sky—absolutely breathtaking and a must-see! One tip: don’t rely too much on Google Maps to get you there. Double-check directions with Julia for a smoother arrival. Highly recommended if you’re after a quiet, authentic outback experience!
