Top marks all round. The house is large and ideal for our needs (a bunch of grey haired old school chums getting together to play board games, chat and drink wine for a weekend). Big kitchen, big lounge, decent bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, just across from a super country pub and in a picture postcard village. The house and kitchen is well equipped and it’s not pristine kitchen ware so you feel you can have fun cooking. All round it was great and we plan to return please.

Lovely house with everything we needed for our short stay and very relaxing. Nice house in quiet road and not too far from any amenities. Jorgo even let us have an extra hour or so to check out on our last day which we really appreciated! Will definitely book again if we come to Oxford.

Staying in Miriam’s guest home was wonderful. We stayed for a full month & staying there, out of the touristy area allowed us to enjoy England rather than feeling like a tourist. Nicely located just outside Oxford with many towns & villages nearby for day trips. Having private & convenient parking was so nice. There is a forest adjacent to the property & plenty of areas to walk & explore. The Fox pub, just a short walk down the street, was covenant & grocery stores & shopping nearby in Abingdon 10 minutes away. Also, convenient to the train station for a visit into London or surrounding areas. Miriam’s home was well stocked with everything we needed; beds & sitting areas comfortable. The back yard & deck off the living room were a great place to sit & enjoy the forest, birds & scenery. The many windows & doors in all the rooms made the home light & cheerful. We loved our Oxford experience & would very much like to visit & spend time at Mariam’s in the future. HIGHLY recommend.

This was an absolutely beautiful cottage that far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful throughout and the location was gorgeous and so quiet and relaxing. My personal favourite thing was the piano. It sounded absolutely beautiful and I didn't want to leave it. Fantastic addition. I'd recommend future guests check out the outside seating area (where there's also a trampoline!) as the garden area is beautiful. Overall an absolutely beautiful stay and I'd love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect. A nice little outside space which was great for a morning tea and for the dog. Super close to the town centre which had everything we needed.

Lovely stay- perfect for our girls get away. Comfortable and relaxing.. plenty of room for 5 people. Communal style bedroom was different but worked for our group. Many thanks Steve!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage- it’s beautiful, homely and well catered and stocked. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and really try to ensure you have a great time there. The surroundings are brilliant and really worked for our multigenerational weekend get away- there was something for everyone. We will definitely come back. Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

We are all family of four, we really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is just as described both in the pictures and the listing details. the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, the perfect get away! Rachel was very responsive and helpful. We all had a wonderful time and hope 5o be back soon!

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

We loved this home from the moment we arrived. From the beautiful kitchen, amazing house plants, and super cozy garden. Our kids loved their room. We all commented on how good we all slept in the great beds. Maggie was always responsive to my messages. We would totally recommend this place to anyone. Very close to all the happenings, but with the peacefulness of a neighborhood.

Beautiful quite location but only a short drive to the Park and Ride for Oxford centre. Accomodation was spotless and comfortable. Beds comfortable and immaculately presented throughout

Helen and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and people. The annex is homely and has the best energy. Their gardens are stunning and good for the soul. I would highly recommend this home and the hosts. Both are the best!

OMG, I don’t have the adjectives to describe this trip! I booked it for myself, my husband and our dog & it was pure perfection. Lesley was helpful as anything, gave a list of local recommendations and the easiest check in/out instructions. It was clean, fresh bedding and location was PERFECT for where we needed (within a half hour drive of all the tourist spots we wanted to visit). Lesley let us bring our dog, left a card for us and a towel/bag of treats for the dog just in case he wanted a swim in the canal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Amazing host, wonderful location and just 5*s all round from me! Thanks for a wonderful stay Lesley ❤️

I can only echo everything everyone else is saying about this beautiful place. We were made to feel like Julie’s personal guests from her beaming welcome to the little touches in the cottage. We chose to do nothing but sit and read and simply enjoy the peace and the sunshine in a 5 star accommodation.

I had a short stay at this beautifully clean and spacious and comfortable house. Sara had left it immaculately clean and with everything we needed for a homely stay away from home. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet and within easy distance of a bus into the city centre. The house is kitted out with everything you would need being away from home and the host was so responsive and easy to deal with. It was an excellent experience and we will definitely be booking again. Thank You!
