That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Jølstravatnet and the majestic mountains that rise around the cabin. The cabin has a private beach for swimming and fishing and is a great base for hikes and activities all year round. If you'd like to experience Lake Jølstra from the water, we also offer boat rentals: Øien 460-1 with a 20 HP Yamaha motor.

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). Jolster sauna apartments is located in Skei i Jolster, Vestland. Few minutes walk from grocery shop, mini bank, Audhild Viken souvenirs butikk, Circle K gas station and Thon hotel Jølster. It is about 44 km from Førde, 62 km from Sogndal. 500m from Jølstravatnet (30 km long Jølster lake), which is one of the best places for trout fishing in Norway.
