Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Helsinki

Järjestimme ystävän polttarit Villa Björkbackenissa. Saimme todella hyviä ohjeita ja infoa Villasta varhaisessa vaiheessa. Kaikki sujui hyvin ja olimme todella tyytyväisiä. Voisin ehdottomasti suosistella tämä paikka muille!

Modern style home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Great design elements including furniture and floor to ceiling windows. We loved relaxing with the tranquil views and enjoyed time on the lovely covered deck area. It was wonderful to eat outside even when occasionally drizzling and not worry about getting wet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We were able to buy all of the food we needed at the tiny market a couple of blocks from the home.

Sehr schönes Haus mit Garten, zwei Fahrrädern und vier bis fünf Schlafplätzen. Das breiteste Bett ist 1,40m und dann gibt es noch drei schmale Betten. Zwischen uns und den vorherigen Gästen war vermutlich nicht genug Zeit, um den Boden zu reinigen. Das hab ich dann aber gemacht und war auch kein Problem. Mit ein bisschen mehr Liebe zum Detail (z.b. Schränke ausräumen und reinigen) ist das Haus ein Schmuckstück. Besonders schön war die Sauna und das große Bad unten neben einem kleinen, hübschen Kaminzimmer...

Nice appartement with kitchen, garden & sauna (1 usage included). We liked to sit outside in the evening and we enjoyed the sauna with wood fire a lot. Wifi worked fine. The hosts reacted fast and helpful to questions.

Hyvä hinta/laatu-suhde. Poreamme oli lapsilla kovassa käytössä.

Kohde oli sellainen kun luvattiin ja lyhyen matkan päässä lahden moottoritiestä.

We had a great stay at Aleksi’s place! It was our first trip to Helsinki in a very long time and the location is great! Aleksi is an attentive and responsive host - his place is just clean, the location is quiet but conveniently close to the water with a great view and also the city centre. The apartment is spacious and cozy with everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot that’s scenic but walkable. Thank you for the great stay!

Very close to the train station and a 10 min train ride to city centre, super well equipped kitchen and the hosts were very friendly and respond to your queries asap :)

Mainio majoituspaikka. Tilat olivat siistit ja juna-asema mukavan lähellä. Ilmanvaihtoventtiili oli tien puolella, mikä päästää jonkin verran liikenteen ääniä sisään. Korvatulpista voi olla hyötyä herkkäunisemmalle. Kylpyhuone on varsin kompakti ja sitä myöten suihkukoppi ei ole suurimmasta päästä, mutta kyllä ns. normaalikokoinen tuossakin peseytyy.

Kaunis asunto kauniilla paikalla, eriomainen sijainti. Todella rauhallista ja hiljaista vaikka sijaitsee niin lähellä keskustaa. Asunnosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava ja kommunikointi majoittajan kanssa oli sujuvaa.

This was a wonderful experience. Beautiful, quirky building and a real home feel with paintings and winding stairs. Location very convenient with lovely bar opposite and easy transport links and brilliant transport system . I enjoyed the sauna too. Warm welcome to beautiful Helsinki and its welcoming people. Super Lage! Die Wohnung liegt im 3. Hinterhaus und daher sehr ruhig. Es war größer als erwartet. Gute Betten, aber im Schrank gab es kaum Platz, um etwas zu verstauen.

Beautiful apartment in a very convenient location. Paula met us to check in and showed us around to make sure we were settled and was very responsive before and during the trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Eevis’ place. The house was fantastic, location was beautiful and the view mesmerising! Will definitely stay there again.

Viihtyisä asunto rauhallisella paikalla, kuitenkin lähellä kaikki palveluita.

Tasokas, hyvinvarusteltu ja kauniisti sisustettu kohde. Oli ilo viettää viikonloppu täällä!

Ann-Sofie's hus är verkligen trivsamt, mycket hemtrevligt och lite' speciellt med alla gamla saker, silversmedens arbetsbord och bilder av hans hantverk på väggarna. Köket är otroligt väl-utrustat, vi hittade precis allt vi behövde. Det finns badrum och WC på övrevåningen och ännu en WC på bottenplanet, riktigt praktisk när man är flera personer. Bastun ute i gårdsbyggnaden är riktigt bra med ett rejält tvättrum. Sovrummet är stort och sängarna bekväma men notera att bara en säng är dubbelsäng. Läget är helt ypperligt för att besöka Billnäs bruk, ca 10 minuters gångväg, och omgivningen är lugn och trivsam. Jag kan rekommendera !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Antti's house. The location on a peninsula on the lake was spectacular - lake views on both sides of the house. The house itself was lovely - very clean, comfortable well equipped and tastefully decorated. Even better than the photos. We really appreciated all the outdoor games and played a lot of croquet and Frisbee golf - Antti even bought a football so the kids could play, they were thrilled. Antti was a fantastic host - so helpful and kind and gave us a tour when we arrived. The real stand out though was the lake. Majestic was the word my husband used to describe the view. So beautiful and we were watching it and in it every day swimming and on the paddleboards/ in the row boat. The sauna with lake views was great too. We hope to be back.

Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying in this home. It was very spacious and ideal for our large group, with a well-stocked kitchen and everything else needed for a very comfortable stay. The owner was also terrific -- very prompt at all times getting back to us and very understanding and accommodating when we had a special request. I highly recommend it!

Kiva paikka, mahtuu isompikin määrä vieraita majoittumaan. Sauna vähän pieni, mutta pärjättiin kun osa sai olla porealtaassa/paljussa. Siisti mökki ja tarvittavat fasiliteetit löytyi valmiina.

We had a wonderful stay at Mustika Villa! The place is beautiful, spacious, and comfortably fit our group of 9. It’s a cozy retreat, well-maintained and nicely designed—perfect for a group getaway. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made our trip relaxing and memorable. A few things to keep in mind: the nearest supermarket is a 20-minute drive, so plan ahead. The photos make it seem like there’s direct access to Lohjanjärvi from the backyard, but that’s not the case—which was a big disappointment for me as a fishing enthusiast. Also, the sleeping areas lack proper separation, so there’s very little privacy—this might be a drawback if you’re not traveling with close friends or family. Overall, if the setup fits your needs, it’s a great spot—not too far from Helsinki.
