Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hernando County

The house was very neat and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was good and close enough to businesses. Conny was very responsive and friendly. We hope to visit there again when we come visit family.

Loved our stay at Angie’s acre! Very peaceful and felt so homey. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard to run around in. It was a wonderful stay. 😊

This place is better than the pictures! The place was super clean. It looked like the inside had been newly renovated and it was beautiful. It was bigger than we thought. Having the kayaks was a big plus! We met a few neighbors while kayaking and they were super nice which added to our overall experience. The bed upstairs (the only one we used) was super comfy as were the pillows. We were in the area for my niece’s high school graduation and plan to stay here again for any future visits! Highly recommend this place. Also, Jennifer was an amazing host and was always quick to respond. We did not need much from her as everything was self explanatory thanks to the thoughtful notes! Gorgeous property, my friends and I loved it. They have automatic lights outside that help you find it easily at night and the outdoor cameras are an additonal sense of safety. We were all very impressed with the extras, greeted with a welcome package and plenty of stuff in the kitchen/bedrooms/lanai to make it a home. The beds and sofas are incredibly comforable as well as clean. It was amazing to be able to adjust the temp to our liking being new englanders, definitely our oasis in the summer heat. This place is worth a stay and we will certainly be back!

This place is a little gem. Great high end Decor. Spectacular shower and bathroom sink!! Kayaking off the pier was excellent. be careful on weekends because river was like a highway, absolutely packed. During the week was peaceful with substantially less people. rented a go boat which was delivered to the pier and was really fun for a day when you don't feel like paddling. Check out Hernando Beach for fun entertainment and food options. Italian restaurant up the street was unbelievable! Great service and wonderful food. Upper Deck was a great let down this trip, frozen food cooked badly.. This a great little place for two people!

I absolutely loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway right on the river this is your spot! We saw manatees! Floated on the river with the five star kayaks that were given to us to use! Neighbors are so friendly also! Such a sweet escape. We kayaked up the river and there were beautiful spots to stop and enjoy swimming/rope swinging/ etc. thanks again!

One word, paradise! We absolutely loved staying here. Being able to use the kayaks right off the dock made this a perfect place to really experience the river. We will definitely be back in the future.

It was all good i like it in starting bed was broken she replaced it right away without any questions she bought new bed.

Tom and Tammy are really super hosts. Always responded quick to my questions. The area is fantastic. Walk to restaurants and the best one is Brian’s Place right next door. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the music on weekends (don’t worry, it’s over by 9), and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping close by. Place has everything you need and is well equipped. Plenty of wildlife. Two majestic Eagles have a nest across the canal.

Estervinas place is exactly like the pictures, extremely clean and easy to find. Recommend 100%… very quite place … Love it! Thank you!! Truly a rare find.

Great little spot! This is the second time I come and stay here because the price and location is hard to beat.. we saw baby dolphin jumping right behind the house at sunset time, manatee, and along the river there were otters and deer and just so much beauty! Staying here is one of the easiest ways to see the Weekiwachee River. It has everything you need: AC beds with clean linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Be sure to be prepared to share the outside area though! There is another rental above and the yard is a shared space (something I forgot all about.) Everyone we encountered from above was very nice. Also noticed the kayaks were upgraded since my last visit! Wonderful weekend all in all. Will be back.

Beautiful place the shower was amazing and the local springs are amazing! The snow park is 30 minutes away and so nice!

We had an amazing stay at the Lucky Duck on Weeki Wachee! The property is beautiful, and Donna thought of everything to make it a perfect spring getaway. She provided kayaks, paddleboards, and even a canoe, making it so easy to enjoy the water right from the house. The screened-in porch was a lovely spot to relax, watch boaters pass by, and take in the peaceful surroundings. The property is very quiet, extremely clean (and I am very picky about cleanliness!). The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but that was a small trade-off for such a perfect stay. Highly recommend it!
