The house is located at the end of Goksøyra with easy access to mountains and the shore. Only 30 min. walk to Fuglefjellet. It has recently been carefully renovated internally. The bathroom is brand new. It is arranged with 6 beds, but is perhaps best suited for 4 people (2 double rooms). The third bedroom has 2 single beds. Screened patio and private garden. The apartment is located in a separate part of the house, with its own entrance on the upper side of the house, and with its own exit to the back of the house where it is about 50 meters down to the lake. You have access to the lake, but there is a fence around the house as there are sheep and cattle grazing in the summer months. There are also free-range chickens around the house. Private seating outside on both sides of the apartment, and private parking space. The kitchen has everything you need for regular cooking.

The house was built in 1893, and whilst fully restored, all the original elements of the building, including timber walls, are retained. The farms' natural beauty is outstanding, including rose gardens, a stream running through, and plentiful opportunities for walks and excursions. We warmly welcome all guests. Juliabuda rorbuer is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been both herring salting, post office and shop. The seaside house has a jetty with the possibility to enjoy views of the fjord and the islands in the sea gap. There is the possibility to use a small rowboat.
