It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. KURA is Japanese traditional building. We renovated it to stay. You can stay here only one group a day.
