Guest house holiday rentals in Highland Council

it was a little difficult for us to find the accommodation because of the instructions (they said to the right of the Linicro sign but you have to go a little further along the road and pass a few houses, then it's easy). the caravan is spacious and has everything. They also left us cookies and cereals for breakfast (in addition to strawberries) The beds in the two-bed room were a bit narrow.

Good value location. Plenty of space in the cabin, ideal after a day exploring in the Highlands. Brilliant to have kitchen amenities for a self catering break. Great hosts too. On hand, welcoming without being obtrusive. Very practical accommodation : )

Caroline welcomed us and had the place heated up, which was much appreciated on such a rainy day. She gave us recommendations for Isle of Skye and wherever she directed us was great. We would not have found the small eateries without her. The place has a really cozy living room overlooking the water and with mountain view. Everything is very clean and smells nice. At night I could hear the wind outside while falling asleep and slept like a baby. Thank you for having us Chris

Had a fantastic stay at Michelle and David’s pod. Both were incredibly lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The pod itself was immaculately clean, in the perfect location, and equipped with everything you could need, and more. Staying here was a huge part of the reason we had such a great time in the area. We will definitely stay here in the future 🌟⛰️

Peaceful and quiet location, close to the beach for children's daily play on the sand, and close to railway line to watch the trains go by. Our labrador enjoyed the enclosed garden at the house. Host was very quick at fixing a minor issue we had.

There was vegetable soup and home made onion bread waiting for us when we arrived it was lovely, also a chew for our dog Marlow and some lovely short bread biscuits .

JP and Sarah made us so welcome. The garden and grounds are a joy with fabulous views down to the Moray Firth. Peaceful and quiet with no passing traffic. Great access on to lovely cycling routes.

This is a gorgeous place with terrific views of Isay and beyond. Everything in this cabin was very well thought out, from lightings to the tasteful decor. Sandy was very welcoming and friendly, hosting us at her beautiful slice of Skye. We can’t recommend this cabin enough - we’re looking forward to visiting again!

We were in Inverness to meet up with family over from Australia. Kenny’s place is in the perfect location for getting out and about - either on foot or by car. The front garden was lovely but unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind enough for us to be able to sit out (typical Scottish summer!!). Would not hesitate to book Kenny’s place again if we’re back in Inverness :-). Loads of nice wee cafes and pubs a short walk away.

Could be a bit tricky to find if just relying on google maps but Julie’s instructions really helped. Beautiful space with very quiet surroundings, my husband particularly enjoyed watching deer out the window. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the local recommendations, we spent an hour watching dolphins which we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Overall a great place to stay in northern Scotland with easy links to the NC500

Meg was a lovely host. We really enjoyed staying at the property. The place was as described in the photos, and the location is very good(you're in beautiful natural space, as well close to amenities in Inverness) We'll definitely come back :)

Flexible check-in and remarkably easy to find and enter. The cabin is at the bottom of the garden but fenced off with a small outdoor private space and seating. Nicely decorated with modern amenities and comfortable bed. Thanks Lynne.

Kirsty and her Rosemount Garden Room were both fantastic! Kirsty was so helpful and speedy with her communication and instructions, and the accommodation was just wonderful - set-up, comfort, cleanliness, and location. It's the ideal place to rest and relax in beautiful surroundings, and as a base to explore the Black Isle and Highlands. I'm already looking forward to going back again!

The location and surrounding area is excellent, had breakfast while lambs jumped around. Accommodation is perfect and spotlessly clean. Check in was very easy and although we didn’t see our host, she communicated with us perfectly.

Charming place with everything we needed. Good beds. I loved to sit on the stairs at the door with a cup of tea endoring the flowers and watch the feeding birds.

Fiona's place was spacious and very well kitted out, especially the kitchen. She was also very helpful in giving advice on hikes in the area

Tiffany is awesome! Very responsive and accommodating. The place itself is magical.

We really enjoyed staying in this little cabin by the river. It had all the amenities we needed plus board games and a few books which was nice. The location is ideal and we took some great day trips as well as enjoyed the sound of the river while we were at home. Would recommend!

What a fantastic place. We wanted somewhere to stay where we could make use of our paddle board & kayak and this was the perfect venue. Easy access to a fantastic quiet loch to enjoy the scenery. The hot tub & sauna were a very welcome treat after a day on the loch. Great location for exploring the highlands with Ben Nevis only 15 minutes away. The accommodation was excellent with absolutely everything you could need, from a lovely Scottish breakfast pack to gorgeous toiletries. The added bonus for us as a family was use the of BBQ hut. Would highly recommend and I’m sure we will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ishhbal’s place. She was always responsive to messages and had very kindly left milk and biscuits for us in the house which was really appreciated. She was very quick to fix up the lights which were not working when we arrived. The house is not big but it had everything we needed and we even managed to get our two suitcases in and set up so we could access everything. The shower had wonderful pressure and the place was spotless. Ishbal was also very understanding when we had a problem with the car. My husband was able to take it to the local garage and wait for it to be fixed while Ishbal was happy to let me wait for him in the house. We really appreciated this understanding at a stressful time for us , as something going wrong with a car while on holidays is never ideal. Thank you Ishbal.

very comfortable accommodation for us my mum stayed with friends and this was within walking distance which was great our dog settled really well, which never happens, and had plenty of room as did we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bothy and hope to return soon

We spent an amazing two weeks in Scotland at several Airbnbs and this was our favorite. Probably one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Modern, unique, comfortable, well outfitted, beautifully decorated, and that INCREDIBLE view. Plus Isabelle and Andrew were the nicest hosts. They really made sure we were well cared for. Aberfeldy is a wonderful location. Lots of restaurants and cafes — make sure to check out The Watermill cafe, bookstore, gallery. You could make this location your hub and easily do day trips to Edinburgh, St Andrew’s, Stirling, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Cairngorms, even Glencoe. Bonus that it has a washer and dryer too (and does a good job!) Highly recommend this lovely lodge. Hope to return someday!

It was great to stay at Paul's cottage. Great location with a direct view of Ben Nevis. The house was comfortable and clean, we really enjoyed our stay. Paul was great at giving us tips on what to do and helped plan our Ben Nevis summit hike.
