Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hinsdale County

Great place to stay! Nice view of the lake. Deer visited often. Very comfortable inside with plenty of room for 6 people and 3 sleeping areas. The garage was made available to us to store and repair a boat trailer. Wonderful hosts answered a million questions.

This is our second time to stay here. Great location, beautiful home, great parking and we could ride our OHVs right to any of the surrounding trails.

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We had a beautiful view of the mountains to wake up to each morning that set our moods for the day. The place was exactly as advertised and perfect for our trip of 4 adults with plenty of room for additional adults/kids. We brought a few cooking supplies with us but ended up leaving everything packed in the truck since the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Our main purpose for the trip was to ride the Alpine Loop on the Polaris Ranger and there was just enough to park the trailer and the truck in the designated parking area. Awesome communications prior to check-in as well as mid-visit check-in just to make sure everything was going smoothly which we greatly appreciated and no issues with the check-out either. Julie was great to work with and will definitely save this as a favorite!

Absolutely stunning! I stayed here to introduce my fiancé to my grandparents- I’ve been coming to this area for over a decade and I HIGHLY recommend! Very roomy and clean, the kitchen was the group favorite, natural light, and an awesome backyard to hang out in! The hosts were so kind and generous- they even made us a hand made loaf of bread that was delicious 😭 I recommended it to family friends already!

Anthony’s place was amazing! The mountains and the reservoir were stunning! Anthony was a responsive host and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Don is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay and helped out when there were any questions or concerns.

Absolutely gorgeous place to land after our long days of adventuring in the area! The house was very well stocked with all the basic amenities you would need. The host was extremely communicative and helpful! And bonus points for having so many extra bath towels! We loved the place! Thank you!

A great place to stay! Nice and close to town, spacious, hot tub. Great host. The only thing I would note is that this BNB sleeps 6, if those 6 people are interested in sharing 3 beds. Just a heads up!

Ben has designed and built a 2025 backcountry living environment for the 3 separate cabins and one home . All very private but this would be a great spot for a family reunion ! His creativity & hard work is apparent . Easily available by text if needed. Inside of my cabin was so colorful and eclectic. Dinner table in front patio perfect for sunset . Kitchen is well appointed , has basic spices , foil , plastic wrap and refrigerator is standard size with great freezer . I’ll be back & pack more food for a longer stay . Nice grilling area for all basecamp guests to share, but cabins still private . The wood burning stove was a plus which I enjoyed on a cool early June night .

A perfectly peaceful, spacious, and homey place with a great location. The kitchen is one of the best I've experienced in countless Airbnbs, and even the foldout couch sleeper was super comfy. I'd happily recommend it and will stay there again if I'm so lucky.

Great place! Jim was helpful and flexible with the checkin time and the apartment was lovely with plenty of space. The heated steps were a nice touch and nice on bare feet after getting out of the hot tub! I would highly recommend staying here.

I really liked this cabin. It was just me this trip, but I like the big open concept, I felt really comfortable. It’s at the northern part of town, but the main street area isn’t that big so you could easily walk to the restaurants and other stores.

The Pine Needles cabin is an ideal spot near Vallecito Lake. There was easy access to a paddle board put in, great hiking in the area, and some excellent fly fishing. The cabin has lots of great space, amenities, and the views are phenomenal.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Lily Cabin! It had a fun, rustic camping-adjacent feel, but with all the amenities (warm shower! Kitchen with all the gear!) that we needed. There is so much to do in and around town, much of it within a walkable distance. The cabin area itself was peaceful, and the host responsive to any questions we had. Thanks for your hospitality, we would love to visit again in the future.

Loved this historic cabin! Met our needs perfectly. We came for hiking and the location was perfect. Sleeper sofa was extremely comfortable. Lake City is a charming town.

Nice and quiet location, with beautiful views. Good room and bed set up. Well stocked kitchen with supplies. Enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay - beautiful location. The cow and calf moose were an added plus! The cabin was clean and welcoming and had all of the basics needed for simple meals. It was a great landing spot for hikes, fishing, scenic drives, and trips to town. We are looking forward to another stay!
