Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hispaniola

Incredible location, literally 20 second walk to Maraca, a great restaurant I ended up eating at twice while I was there. Corner store 30 seconds away in the opposite direction for drinks, etc. super cool architecture and pool area was peaceful. Ice cold AC in bedroom I stayed in. Few notes, city is working on the street, so must be dropped at a corner, which is only 30 seconds walk to unit. Water unexpectedly was out the last day, wasn’t the hosts fault and they were extremely accommodating and helpful. Would stay there again.

The house is stunning, and the neighborhood is equally lovely. It’s a peaceful and tranquil place, exactly as described. Everything was perfect! The pool was amazing! But when we visited, the tree fence around it wasn’t fully grown yet, so it’s a bit too exposed. It’s a gated community, so only the guards passed by. Alicia Beach 🏖️ was great! It’s about 20-25 minutes from the house by car. There are others, similar distances. There was supermarket delivery and you have a Chef available for a fee. Will most likely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most amazing stay at Barnard’s place! Everything was absolutely perfect — clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We were traveling with kids, and it was such a family-friendly space that made all of us feel right at home. The little touches made a big difference and helped keep everyone comfortable and happy throughout our stay. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and relaxing. The location was great, and the comfort of the space truly made it feel like a home away from home. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. As soon as we can, we’ll be back — no question about it. Thank you for making our trip so special!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at this Airbnb in Santiago! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive. The space was spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay—modern amenities, cozy bedding, and a fantastic location that made exploring the vibrant city a breeze. The neighborhood was lively yet safe, with local eateries and cultural gems just a short drive away. I loved the thoughtful touches, like fresh coffee and helpful tips about Santiago’s hidden spots. This was hands-down one of my best Airbnb experiences, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic!

Private and peaceful villa with spectacular views. Thomas is very responsive and helpful host. Only thing I would change is maybe A/C on the bedrooms but the view is still worth 5 stars. Hopefully I can visit again.

Nuestra estadía en Casa Victoria fue una maravilla. Esta muy bien equipada, es hermosa y acogedora. La host fue muy amable y siempre estuvo disponible para ayudarnos. Un especial saludo a Doña Maritza, cocina espectacular y Chiquito por su ayuda. Sin duda lo recomiendo y nos encantaría volver pronto!

J’ai beaucoup aimé la maison. Environnement paisible avec un Jolie paysage. Je retournerai labas c’est sure. Un tres bon endroit pour se deconnecter pour reposer son corps et âme. Merci à l’hote!

I would like to start with the pros: The house and pool were awesome and as described. We spent many hours by or in the pool. My kids loved it. the house was spacious and the kitchen had space to prepare food. The security in the neighborhood seemed quite good and the fence and gate around the house made everyone feel very safe. Our host was very easy to communicate with and she responded quickly. I would say however that we did have some issues with the toilets not filling back up and this lead to some less than desirable experiences. We mentioned the problem a few days in and unfortunately nothing was solved by the time we left. I don't know how easy or hard it is to get a plumber in so it might not have been the hosts fault. the showers are also not great. A few situations that we had asked for things that were missing or not working, or needed to be replaced and unfortunately the solutions never happened. Overall I liked the house and the host. I would recommend.

El alojamiento es excelente, las atenciones de Gabriel 1A, se mantuvo en contacto conmigo todo el tiempo, desde antes de mi llegada hasta después de habernos ido. Todo se ve mejor que en las fotos, es un lugar excelente para desconectar. mi familia y yo no nos queríamos ir.

Hermosa propiedad frente a la playa. Parecía exactamente como en las fotos, todo estaba limpio y organizado. El señor Juan fue extremadamente servicial y amable. Yomalis y Chanel siempre respondieron en un tiempo perfecto. La mejor estancia y volvería de nuevo.

Sin duda recomendaría este lugar y volvería a hospedarme aquí en el futuro. ¡Gracias por una experiencia tan agradable!

Nos encantó tener una escapa en su alojamiento, fue agradable, privado y tranquilo justo lo que buscábamos para como pareja pasar un tiempo juntos…. El alojamiento es hermoso, está bien cuidado y nos encantó la decoración … estamos seguros que volveremos !

Great stay! You need a good vehicle to get to it and it's easier to find in the daylight, but so worth it. We slept so well and the view can not be beat! They also cooked us an amazing Dominican breakfast every morning.

Don’t hesitate, just book it. The location is unbelievably peaceful and we were fortunate to be there while there weren’t many other guests. Even if there were others, we wouldn’t have known unless we ran into them on the beach or a path. The staff were friendly and very responsive to any questions are requests we had. We ordered the majority of our meals from the chef and were never left hungry. The flavors were amazing and the portions very generous. The villa was itself was incredible! We loved the layout and the details throughout. We would absolutely book at Ocama again and are already recommending it to all of our friends.

My stay exceeded my expectations. FIXIE Lofts is truly a Gem in such a beautiful and historical area. The Loft was so beautiful and cozy. I especially enjoyed the open areas within the property. I also felt safe and secure. Thank you to Shakira for being helpful as well.

If you wanted to get away from the city and disconnect, this is the place to go. Will definitely come back if I’ll be able to ♥️

The directions were clear and easy to follow. The location was beautiful, I loved how all the areas were separated and it was still close, it felt very whimsical. We were able to cook based on the helpful recommendations Jessica provided, the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary supplies. Jessica was always attentive and responsive. Highly recommend taking food, and making sure you have enough gas. We had a Kia K5 and slowly we were able to make the trip to and from. It rained in the night one of the days that we were there so you have to be careful walking on the flooring but it dries pretty fast and it was a lovely moment to lay on the hammock while it rained. I would recommend this place if you just want to decompress, get away and just take relax, there were Dominoes provided so we got to enjoy a game night. Also one of my favorite parts were the local chickens that come to hang out for a bit. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and dragonflies which just added to it.
