Hita is a water town located in the center of Kyushu. Our inn not only offers accommodation, but also a number of "active experiences that can only be had in Hita" that will familiarize you with the rich nature, history and culture of Hita. We hope you will enjoy the goodness and fun of Hita through the various "experiences" you will encounter in Hita, the wooden and tatami mats of the Showa-era Japanese-style wooden house, and the local cuisine made with seasonal Hita ingredients. We only accept one group per day to ensure your satisfaction, and we will do our best to make sure you enjoy your stay. Please relax as if you were in your own second home. The area around the inn is quiet and ideal for walking, etc. Hita is located in the heart of Kyushu, with good access to rail, car and public transportation, and is just over an hour from Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport. Kumamoto, Oita, and Saga are also within 2 hours, so I think it is convenient to use Hita as a base to travel to various parts of Kyushu.

It is a renovated, room-only, private house surrounded by trees, located on a stone wall where rivers converge. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come and go on the river next to the inn to play in the river and go to Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes.
