Welcome to Tjeltveit Fjordferie! Newly renovated apartment in the garage loft with a great view of Ombofjorden, and with good hiking opportunities in the nearby area. Perfect stop for those of you who are going on a trip to Preikestolen and Trolltunga. There is a private kitchen and bathroom in the apartment, and it is also possible to borrow a travel bed for children. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and the drying rack is in one of the closets. There are duvets and pillows, bed linen and towels in the apartment that are included in the price.

Reconnect with the nature at this simple accommodation with a thorough hunting cabin feel. It is located in a great location, out in nature, only 10 minutes walk from the parking lot/road. It is equipped with wood-burning stove, gas burner, bio toilet and solar panel for light and charging. Note that there is no bathroom and shower, but good swimming opportunities nearby :-) Around the cabin there are several hiking opportunities and boat with fishing equipment. Short drive to several sights such as the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag, Jørpelandsholmen etc.

The nostalgic character gives a cozy atmosphere indoors, especially when you fire the wood stove. The house is fully equipped and has what you need of facilities and equipment for short or longer stays. We have a canoe and rent out electric bicycles and in the winter we offer snowshoes and snow spikes so you can walk in the beautiful winter landscape.

The cabin is brand new - designed and built by myself, and of course with the help of friends and family. Bjørheimsheia offers amazing nature experiences. You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.
