Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Homestead Valley

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb near Joshua Tree! The location is super convenient—just a short drive from the national park entrance, which made it really easy for us to explore. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The host was incredibly friendly and generous, providing us with everything we needed, including BBQ equipment, drinks, and more. The environment was peaceful, cozy, and beautifully set up for a comfortable desert getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Joshua Tree. Would definitely love to stay here again!

This home is absolutely beautiful. I didn’t stay for long but it definitely had me wanting to go back. Everything was as listed and I would definitely book again!

We loved our stay! There was plenty of activities to do at the house and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The location is in great proximity to Joshua Tree and close enough to town to make a quick run for something but far enough out to be relaxing and peaceful. Our host was super friendly and very responsive.

After traveling all day from the East Coast, it was a pleasure to arrive at this house. Convenient parking spot, easy access entry door, very clean everything!, comfy beds, privacy due to the two bathrooms, well stocked with paper goods, soaps and towels, beautiful art work and plenty of chairs, clothing drawers, kitchen utensils, huge cold frig, wonderful hot showers, powerful air conditioners considering it was 100 F outside. We did not use the hot tub but it's in a nice spot under the stars. Porch had a great breeze at night. Convenient location near JT, 29 Palms and Yucca Valley, and easy drive to Route 62 and shopping centers. Thank you Josh and Don for knowing exactly what travelers really need. We would definitely rent this house again if we ever come back to the desert.

Absolutely stunning. Come here if you’re ready to turn off your brain. It’s the perfect place to reset and calm your mind!

Simon’s place was clean and beautiful and just as described! We sat outside and watched as the sunset and we enjoyed the most incredible starry night. I was so fortunate to book this place! Make sure your car can handle dirt roads and definitely don’t go down George Road because of soft sand. Also, my maps didn’t show Judy road so you’ll just have to keep an eye out. Other than that, there were plenty of towels, everything worked, they had shower essentials and everything was pristine, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We stayed here for a birthday getaway and absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful and super comfortable — everything felt really well thought out. We cooked a bunch in the kitchen, which had everything we needed, and the EV charger was a great surprise that made things super convenient. Spending time outside was the best part — soaking in the hot tub under the stars was unreal. The place is peaceful, stylish, and close enough to town and the park, but still feels totally private. Would 100% come back. One of our favorite stays yet!

Beautifully designed and furnished home. Mind the 1.5 miles of dirt road in case your vehicle’s not off-road ready.

This place provided much needed solace, community, and beauty when we needed it most. Nathan is a truly caring person and host. We are so grateful we were able to stay in this beautiful spot.

Place is fantastic to spend some time out in Joshua Tree. EV charger helped a ton; views to die for, Road Runners and wild Rabbits on the property were cool to see :) Pool is great, and so is the house, overall. Some blinds/curtains would be helpful during sunset in the Kitchen/Living Room, appliances could use some love to match the rest of the house. The gas fire pit is nice but the placement isn't ideal - in the desert wind blows hard at times and for us, it was unusable during the time we were there since the wind was not allowing it to keep lit. Really good, regardless, maybe a tad over priced, but definitely had a good time.

We had the most beautifully relaxing time at this beautiful home. Every morning you can watch desert critters running behind the house, and relax by the pool all afternoon. The sauna was such an amazing addition! The town was welcoming, and has everything you’ll need. The hosts were so responsive and friendly. 10 out of 10 would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second time staying here, it felt like home away from home. We love the vibe, the pool and hot tub are perfect ways to enjoy a hot desert day or starry night.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The pool was perfect and we relaxed during the day while it was too hot to hike in Joshua Tree National Park. The desert views from the pool area in the backyard were incredible and made us feel like we were still in the national park. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The indoor/outdoor cactus planter by the front door was my favorite part. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
