Cabin holiday rentals in Honshu

This place was the perfect peaceful getaway. I was greeted by the host upon arrival and shown everything about the space and property. It was about a 5 min drive to the lake. The sauna/cold tub/hot tub cost extra but was a great addition. Gorgeous property and immaculate, private guest house to stay in. Would love to stay here again!

It was very easy to understand and the service was polite.The inn is surrounded by nature, in a calm place, and there were many places to visit nearby, such as suspension bridges and cafes, so it was good.Also, I was able to rent an electric bicycle, so I could easily walk around the area.I would definitely like to use it.

I have used it before, and this time the check-in location was different, but there was information about it in advance, and it was very smooth. It was very beautiful and the view was beautiful, and the guide was easy to understand. There were a lot of people staying, but they were very polite and made sure there were enough amenities and dishes. Thanks to you, I had a very pleasant time.

Nice cabin for the most part. Descriptions are accurate. Maybe it's better during the brighter season. Early June is too dark. The area is quite dark at night , hard to come up if you're driving. The area surrounding is not to my interest. I wish I could use the hot spring, it was way too hot even after draining out with refilling with cold water. There were no instructions for it.

We were able to use the message quickly, politely, and comfortably.

The wooden house is very comfortable and cozy, very much like a ski hut hhh, the audio-visual room is very convenient to use, and it brought a lot of fun to our trip ~

First of all, the entrance and interior were very good!The furnishings and furniture of the log house are unified, and the paintings also felt the owner's sense! Next, the sauna was the best!A barrel sauna where you can hear the birds chirping and the river babbling.A fluffy poncho, a white birch sauna aroma, and a sauna hat are all available, making it a space that sauna lovers will covet.The cold bath right after the sauna is also great.The view of the new green leaves in the early morning from the deck chair looking up at the greenery also enhanced the healing space!! At the night BBQ, we were able to enjoy the deliciousness of Nasu with the owner's recommended meat and sake.The choice of the ambassador of Nasu Town was the best! The gas grill was also a large, authentic one that could cook a lot of ingredients at once! Finally, the location was great, with Kogen Marche, Penny Lane, Safari Park, a famous soba restaurant, and a clear stream all within walking distance.

I'd love to stay again.

Had an awesome stay at Mark’s place, he was very hospitable, picked us up from the station and dropped us back off afterwards. The house was great and cosy and having the car made it really helpful to get around Hakuba. Definitely recommend to anyone staying here

It was very clean, well-equipped, and a very fulfilling stay! I couldn't have a bbq outside because of the rain, but the hot plate inside was also fun☺️

Recommended for a five-star stay at this homestay!I chose this B&B because the photos are nice and well priced, and the location is not within consideration.Didn't realize later that the homestay was on an island where cars couldn't arrive directly, a little worried at first.But thankfully the homeowner provided very clear instructions, including the location and schedule of the ferry ride, and the whole trip went smoothly, which was my first experience with a car ferry in my life and it felt both novel and happy! The view around the homestay is very beautiful, with the renovation of the wooden system in the house, the environment is quiet and relaxing, and there is also a barbecue grill that has been configured to add a thick atmosphere to the accommodation, although the location of the B&B is in the middle of nature and there are many insects outside the house, but when entering the house, the insect disappears, it is very surprising, the house is equipped with a hammock, and the window view is a spectacular green grassland.But the most sad thing is that it was raining that day, and I couldn't enjoy the view of the stars in the introduction of the homestay, which became a small regret.If I get the chance, I will definitely come again, especially for the stars at night!Also really appreciated the owner's friendly attitude and overall it was a great value stay and would highly recommend it to travelers who love nature and adventure!

We were a group of 6 children and adults. They were children from 6 to 2 years old, but there were many playgrounds with roofs even in the rain, so they could continue to play without getting bored!! The room had stairs, so I was a little worried, but they continued to play outside without entering the room most of the time, so there was no need to worry about the stairs. On the second day, it was sunny, so we played in the river next to the cafe and picked blueberries, and we had a very fulfilling time!I would definitely like to go and play again!!

The host was present at check-in and gave a very clear explanation.The facilities and amenities were as described, and as shown in the photos, it was very beautiful and there were many tools that could be used, such as dishes, which was helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

I had a great time using it with 7 friends! The design was particularly lovely (^ ^) It is in nature, so some insects may appear, but it is not enough to worry about. We were highly satisfied and will definitely consider using it again, especially with the attractive benefit of receiving a bottle of white wine on our next visit!I think it's a space that I can highly recommend even without any special benefits!

This is a great place to stay! My family has stayed in the house for 3 nights and found it not enough. The house is magnificent and made of natural wood. We can have a nice scent of wood after entering the house. The house is very well equipped with all sorts of necessity, in particular, two heaters, which functioned very well and warmed up the house comfortably. The house has also a nice few towards the Mount Iwaki. There were a few beautiful cherry blossom trees planted in front of the house, which makes a stunning picture. The location can be conveniently accessed from mainly road. The nearest main city – Hirosaki is only a 25-min drive, where you can find a gorgeous castle and enormous blossom trees. Convenient stores or supermarket are readily available within a 10-min drive. The host – Aki-san is very nice and knowledgeable. He made a very smooth check-in and explained everything very well. We also had a wonderful dinner in his restaurant!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Villa HASEGAWA in Yamanakako. The host 弘義 was incredibly friendly and helpful. We asked many questions before and during our stay, and he patiently answered all of them, Even though we arrieved quite late at around 8pm, but he was still there to warmly welcome us. He even recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which we really enjoyed. The villa was perfect for a family - spacious, clean and cozy. Truly a great experience. Highly recommeded!!!

Staying at Dan's place was a great experience! Dan is a very responsive host and offered to pick us up from the station upon arrival. He gave us local recommendations around Hakuba area and checked in with us multiple times to check if all was well. Really appreciated that. The area is quiet and you don't hear anything during the night. Recommended to rent a bike/car to reach Hakuba town easily. The cabin is amazing and the upper bedroom is very convenient!
