Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.
