The space
The list of reasons to travel to Villa la Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos include the award-winning Desert Spa, spacious suites with private balconies, and the gourmet La Casona restaurant, but now, there’s one more reason to choose it from among all the other Los Cabos all inclusive resorts: the Safe Travels Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council. Of all the awards Villa la Estancia Cabo has won, this is perhaps the most important because it recognizes all the Coronavirus safety measures the resort is implementing to fight the pandemic. With this acknowledgement, travelers can continue to trust Villa la Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos to prioritize health and safety.

At the tip of the Baja Peninsula, an idyllic retreat awaits at Villa La Estancia Los Cabos. Known for its refined elegance, sophisticated style and relaxing atmosphere right on Medano Beach, this resort creates an experience to relish.
The pampering begins the moment you enter the lobby of the luxurious Villa La Estancia. Located on Medano Beach adjacent to sister properties Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa and Villa del Palmar Los Cabos, this five-star retreat prides itself on offering magnificence amidst a relaxed setting.

Villa La Estancia has the only privately-owned beachfront condominiums on the fabulous Medano Beach of Cabo San Lucas, and operates as a five-star resort. Each of the condos is owned by an individual or group of homeowners who take pride in their property.
Our condo unit number 1207, We are located near the hot tubs and easy access to lobby and gym. And access to pool and beach.

Medano Beach is wonderful for swimming and sunning and many other activities such as parasailing and snorkeling, but you will be tempted to stop at one of the two gorgeous pools or five hot tubs on the site. Or, you might choose to go into the executive fitness center for a workout or the spa for a jacuzzi, steambath, or sauna. Or you can just hang out at the pool's swim up bar and restaurant and let yourself be pampered by the friendly, expert personnel.

World famous golf and sportfishing are at your fingertips, or you can rent ATVs and tour the desert area at the tip of the peninsula. Take a day trip to some of the fascinating towns of southern Baja California, or you can simply walk or take a short bus or taxi ride into Cabo San Lucas itself. Shop for Mexican jewelry, metalwork, and pottery, then enjoy your dinner at one of the town's countless excellent restaurants. Have a cocktail at the bustling marina, and watch the boats of the fishing fleet return from their day at sea. Be sure to stay in town long enough to sample the exciting night life - you will have all day tomorrow to snooze at the oceanfront pool!

The condo is spacious and elegant, with 2000 plus square feet of living space. It is a complete luxury residence, with marble floors throughout. You will spend a good deal of time on the large terrace which looks down on the main pool and gazes out at Land's End, the very tip of the Baja peninsula. The terrace has ceiling fans, a wet bar, a refrigerator.

The condo has a full kitchen (updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances) and dining room, breakfast bar, and living room. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a sitting area, and the master bath has jacuzzi tub, shower, and double sinks. The second bedroom has a bathroom and two queen-size beds. The couch in the comfortable living room pulls out into a queen-size bed, so the condo holds eight with ease. Adjoining the living room is a third full bathroom with shower. There are cable TVs and ceiling fans in every room, as well as a VCR and stereo in the living room.

The expert and courteous concierge staff are dedicated to making your stay a total vacation. They will take care of all the details that you want to get away from on vacation, from check-in to check-out. They will arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and give expert advice on the activities in the area. If you are in a mood to cook, you can purchase groceries at the onsite grocery. Also available there are pharmacy items, jewelry and clothing, movie rentals, and even a delicatessen. If you just want to loaf, there is a fine restaurant on site, which also offers room service.

Come to Cabo and see why it has captured the imagination of those who love the sun and water. Cabo is easily accessible by air through most of the major air carriers (airport code SJD). Fly in the morning, then spend the afternoon in the sun at Cabo's premier resort. Let this be Your Home by the Sea, and you will have a vacation you won't soon forget!
Villa La Estanica offers it the ocean front swim up bar to the swimmable Medano beach, it's all at your doorstep. This ground floor, spacious 2 bedroom/3 bath villa provides the perfect entertaining space with an oversized, fully gated patio leading you directly to the pool/beach/gym/spa.

WELCOME TO VILLA LA ESTANCIA VILLA 1207
WELCOME to CABO!!!
To make your Cabo vacation easy, please see the helpful information below. Villa La Estancia (VLE) will have you registered under your name and confirmation number. Don’t worry about bringing your confirmation number with you…the resort will have your name at the front lobby.
When you arrive at the resort, they will already have you pre-registered. Simply walk through the automatic doors and into the lobby. Once inside, please give them your name and they will conveniently check you in. They will take an imprint of your credit card (All major credit cards accepted), which will enable you to make charges to your room at any of the restaurants and shops within the property (As well as Villa del Arco and Villa Palmar). This is also helpful at the market, pool bar and grill, or at the 31,000 square foot Desert Spa for wonderful massage and spa treatments.
The resort will give you electronic keys for the Villa and a bellman will escort you to the Villa with your bags and show you around.

Remember what this word means…. Mañana
You are on vacation. Things move slower in Mexico than they do in the US or other hustle/bustle countries. Since you are on vacation take a slower pace and you will have a great time. The Mexican people are absolutely wonderful…..very friendly and will go totally out of their way to make you happy…..it just will happen a little slower here. Adopt their pace and you will do just fine.
Will I need a passport to get to Mexico and a visa ? And are there additional fees/tariffs or entrance and exit fees which need to be paid ?
You will need a passport. A visa is not required. Any fees that need to be paid such as entry/exit fees are collected by the airlines when you book your ticket. There should not be any additional fees. You will simply show your passport and the completed immigration form you get and fill out from the airlines when you are on the plane. There will also be a customs form to be completed. You can bring in food such as candy bars, gum etc. however the Mexican government does not want you bringing in fruit or anything like that.
How do we get from the airport to the resort ?
The airport is around 45 minutes to VLE. We have been using Cabo Transfers for many years now and have new-clean Ford Expeditions, which will comfortably transport 7 adults to the resort with nice cold water. We have been using Domingo at Cabo Transfers as he always welcomes us with a smile and is a very good driver. This should cost about $80/OW or $160/RT. Sometimes we will have Domingo stop at Costco or Wal-Mart to pick up some food and drink before being delivered to the resort. I usually will tip him $20.00 USD for the 20-30 minute stop on the way in to VLE. I will tip him $10 for the drop off at the end of our vacation. Here are some other websites to check out before you depart for your trip to Cabo. I would book this reservation 2-3 weeks in advance………I recommend booking round trip at the same time as you cannot book the return after you are in Cabo because of the Union Taxi Laws.
www.cabotransfers.com- Request Domingo-we have been using Domingo for years.
www.transbaja.com
www.brownsprivateservices.com
You can also take a shuttle (cheaper), which usually takes quite a bit longer and there will be no stopping at Costco or Wal-Mart. This will take visitors to several other resorts along the corridor before stopping at VLE.

Car rental???
This is a personal preference. If you plan on going outside of town to Todos Santos or down to San Jose, or the East Cape, you might want to think about renting a car. You can always rent a car for a day or two through the hotel concierge.
There is secured, underground, free parking at the resort if you do decide to rent. I usually have the gentlemen up top valet the car for me…easier!
Otherwise, everything is extremely close to walk to or you can take a taxi to town for $7.00-10.00 USD.

Going The airport After you have deplaned and gone through immigration and customs (pretty straight forward), you will exit through the last set of doors and see a lot of locals trying to sell timeshares in the Cabo area. They will seem extremely nice… please say no thank you and exit to the doors outside where you will find your driver standing with your name on their company’s sign.
Smoking permitted in the Villa?
Absolutely NOT and would appreciate if guests would respect the non-smoking designation. Please smoke outside the Villa in smoking designated areas.
How can someone contact me in the event of an emergency?
The number to the front desk is 011-52-1-624-145-6900. Please let them know what the emergency is and they will come find you immediately.
What to do if a lightbulb burns out or if something is not working correctly in the villa?
Simply pick up the resort phone in the villa and dial “0” and they will have maintenance to the room to fix anything that is not working.
Who can help me while I am at the resort and have questions???
While at the pool, please introduce yourselves to Carla or Ramon…they have been at the resort for many years and are extremely helpful. They can also help with dinner reservations, just let them know where you would like to go, how many people, and what time.
Additionally, any one of the staff at VLE can help with any questions.
Drinking Water at VLE.
The water at VLE is very good to drink. The water at VLE has a state of the art desalination and purifying plant on site. I have been drinking the water for years and have not had any issues. We also buy some bottled waters for the pool area or walks on the beach.

Water Activities-Tours
For any water activities including snorkeling, fishing, glass-bottom boat, parasailing, or whatever floats your boat….Please walk down to the beach in front of Villa la Estancia and find one of the gentlemen in white long sleeve t-shirts from “Rice and Beans” watersports and ask for Oscar Mercado. I have been using Oscar for all of our family’s and guests water activities for many years now. Oscar speaks great English and is very personable. He seems to have the best deals on the beach. Just tell him ‘Chimichanga’ sent you for water activities. His business card is below if you need to email or call him for reserv reservations.

If I can answer any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
