Ahu Ahu Beach Villas is a place to recharge your soul. Overlooking the ocean, we are close to rivers, bush, snowcapped mountain, and famous surf breaks. You'll have all the privacy you need and are still handy to local village amenities. All 4 architecturally designed Villas and our spacious Lodge have stunning sea views and make our place a good choice for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, big groups, and you can even bring your furry friends (pets, guidelines apply).

A nurse in her previous life, Nuala puts her organisational skills and love for people to good use in running Ahu Ahu Beach Villas and Willie's House. She is a foodie, and happiest with a latte or wine in the company of family or friends. For a number of years Nuala and husband, David, worked their land alongside a wholefood business they established in New Plymouth, and these things converge in the glorious food they provide for events – made with thought and passion.

David and Nuala love living in Ahu Ahu Rd – a great place to fish, surf, garden, beach comb, watch sunsets and enjoy life raising their three now-grown children. They created Ahu Ahu Beach Villas as a spontaneous extension of the enjoyment they gained from meeting visitors on the beach and inviting them into their home and lives. Willie's House was David's dad's much-loved home, and David and Nuala now manage it on behalf of Willie's family.

David and Nuala add that extra something to every guest’s stay – whether it’s the secret of the best sunset spot on the coast, a freshly caught fish to share, or a connection over a chat and a laugh. Come as strangers, leave as friends!
