Atotonilco el Grande is a place full of history, culture, and gastronomy. It was one of the main towns in 1746, populated by families of indigenous people, Spaniards, and mestizos, under the order of St. Augustine. You can currently visit the church and former convent of St. Augustine, where you can see characteristics of the 16th century constructions. From this place you can visit several tourist places such as Real del Monte. Huasca de Ocampo, Mineral del Chico, Omitlán de Juárez and hot springs.
